It’s the fourth day of the challenge and Amberlynn has a couple explanations as to why she’s up in weight today. When she gains following a couple days of losses, the B monster creeps in to derail the progress. The plan for the day is to go to Lexington, which means Cheesecake Factory and Cold Stone Creamery, so she already knows she won’t be happy with the scale tomorrow. Beck gets a new hairdo, and Amberlynn takes us along for the trim. Amberlynn says the trip to Lexington is to celebrate their 1-year anniversary since they were sick on the 9th. Amberlynn takes us with her to a store called FYE where Beck isn’t sure if it’s a good idea to use $10 of the budget on a DVD, but Amberlynn wants to capture her generosity on camera and suggests Beck buy the DVD. Next, they’re off the Target, Amberlynn’s second home. She doesn’t share where they went to eat but does confess to going to Cold Stone Creamery, even though Beck doesn’t want to be judged by viewers for enjoying ice cream. Amberlynn indicated being honest about the increase in calories makes it easier to indulge today and worry tomorrow. Once home, she’s walking up a storm to hit her step goal. She’s not so confident in her ability to continue monitoring her calories tomorrow but hopes for the best. She's convinced her FitBit isn't working properly so she’s thinking about getting a new one, even though she’s only had this one for a couple months. Which means Beck might be using this one when Amberlynn upgrades. She ends the vlog with suggestions on how to avoid the B monster.

00:00hey guys okay so welcome to day four I can't believe it's already day four okay
00:07so today I had to wake up rather early earlier than usual I only got about three
00:13to four hours of sleep which is really bad especially when you're trying to
00:16lose weight by the way if you're looking at my makeup it is so uneven I'm looking
00:21in this mirror and I'm just like no I need to fix my eyeliner I weighed myself
00:26hours hours earlier than I usually do I just need to get on a better like
00:31program so when there's times where I program schedule see it's a lack of
00:36sleep I need to get myself on better schedule so when there's times when I do
00:40have to wake up early the scale won't be frightening
00:48I don't have my little booklet in front of me I weighed 495.8 yeah
00:56so that means I'm up 0.4 pounds so I'm not even up a pound but I know it's
01:04because I weighed myself so much earlier than usual I didn't get as much sleep
01:09like just the mixture of things is just a fluctuation but I'm okay with that
01:14because I'm still down 2.8 pounds in three days I'm okay with that like that's
01:18totally fine it's a little discouraging normally when something like this
01:22happens I'm just like I'm gonna eat whatever I want I'm gonna mmm it puts me
01:26in like a like state of mind but I'm not gonna let that happen today because I
01:31know if I keep pushing forward and doing what I have to do you know hopefully I'll
01:35weigh in tomorrow and see a loss like I did everything I had to yesterday
01:38everything I set my mind to do I ate the right amount of calories I did my steps
01:43today's a new day it's okay so yeah today Becky and I are actually going to
01:48like a bridal slash like bachelorette type thing I don't really know how to
01:52explain it so that's what we're doing I'm not gonna like film there or anything
01:55obviously I don't really know what it's gonna entail I'm just you know going
01:59with the flow because that's usually what I do even though I'm like a big
02:03planner but let's just anyways I have to go fix this eyeliner like I'm having
02:07issues with it I know like I don't have to stare at myself all day but other
02:10people have to so look at this car it's actually a lot bigger in person I love
02:16you guys can tell how big it is but I've never seen a car like this before what
02:20I don't know I just figured I'd show you but Becky over here is about to get her
02:26haircut hopefully so we just got finished with a little wedding get-together type
02:34thing the wedding is until Saturday but I'm yeah I was wondering if you guys
02:41accepted walk-ins okay all right thank you bye so we're gonna go yeah get your
02:51hair done yeah are you excited yeah cuz I need it I need it bad I'm tired of this

03:04it grow back out together yeah she wants her hair to grow to her shoulders but
03:08right now her hair is all different lengths so we're gonna go get that fixed

04:54just been very like I mean I'm happy she came if I had my choice I'd be in the bed
04:59and I'm happy to go to sleep but I mean she didn't have to type of thing so I just feel bad for her it's our anniversary and we're at the grocery store
05:10uh had a really long but good weekend so yeah

05:42steps in I just went to the mall here which is very small and lame I'm almost at
05:464,000 steps so that's great and it's not even 2 p.m. yet so we're on a good start

08:09did do those i actually just completed them about 10 minutes ago and it's 11 28 p.m becky and i are
08:15watching the movie constantine instead of sitting down i decided to get up and just walk around the
08:20room and then i had her pause it and i was like i'm gonna walk around the house i did a lot of walking
08:24today at the mall and at stores and i walked outside at lexington i still had about 2 000 more steps to do
08:30so i came home and did those i did succeed in that so i'm super happy about that but i'm gonna be
08:36honest with you guys i have ate a little bit more than 6 000 calories today i'm gonna eat whatever i
08:42want i'm gonna this journey and this challenge isn't meant to just be amazing like it don't work
08:49that way i can't just wake up overnight and be a completely different girl but what i think is
08:53different about this is normally when i mess up i i beat myself up so much that the next day i'm just
08:58like you know what i'm gonna mess up again i'm gonna mess up again but something about right now
09:01i just feel you know a lot better like we went to freaking spencer's i had a great day today i went
09:06to fye i did you know i got a few things that i've been wanting i went to freaking target like that's
09:11my jam i love target you guys if you know me you know that it's just i hardcore overate instead of
09:17being like oh my god like pity party me i'm just like i f***ed up i'm 500 pounds um seeing that
09:26terror terrifies me 100 so um welcome to my day one day four there's gonna be ups there's gonna be
09:35downs you just gotta be honest about them get back in the game the next day and tomorrow is a new day
09:43i'm gonna do my 8 000 steps tomorrow again but tomorrow i'm not eating no 6 000 calories i'm gonna
09:48get right back on it tomorrow's gonna be day five there is no feeling there's no giving up this is not
09:53something where you just eat a bunch and then give up like it's not gonna happen by day 30 i i want to
09:58be smarter about my options this is all about me learning you know i'm saying and by the way i'm
10:03thinking about getting a new fitbit actually i really want the charge 2 but i know there's a new
10:09fitbit like the newest one i don't know i'm trying to decide on both of those i'm gonna like look up
10:13reviews on both i just i just want a new one because supposedly the one that i have isn't as reliable as
10:19it should be who freaking knows but anyways i'm gonna end this vlog i'm sorry if i let anyone down
10:24but i'm here to be honest it's not just ups it's not just downs it's just a weight loss journey is
10:29completely like a roller coaster by the way i know a lot of people who watch this so if any of you are
10:36watching this right now and you want don't do it okay just live with the discomfort for the moment
10:45get up walk listen to your favorite song on loud if you can't do it out loud put some headphones in
10:51do something that makes you really happy for like 20 minutes and then ask yourself if you want to
10:55just try it out and see if it works choose some gum chug some water those those are just some really
11:01good advice that i can give you guys anyways i'm gonna end this vlog i'm rambling i'll see you guys in
