00:00Hi, everyone. Welcome back to a new session of Web3 Voice.
00:13Today, I'm going to be presenting you about a new fresh product
00:17that we've got going for you, Quogitus by Zeev.
00:21My name is Sankab Sharma.
00:23I'm co-founder and head of engineering here at Zeev.
00:26Today, I'll be running you by what we've got going for Avalanche L1s.
00:30So Quogitus is our one-click launch platform for Avalanche L1s.
00:36As recently, we've seen that Avalanche has gotten a big, big upgrade,
00:41which is allowing it to have the previous barriers that existed
00:47in the Avalanche ecosystem about onboarding more and more app chains
00:51is going to be the major focus of this very upgrade itself.
00:56We've been working with Avalanche team for quite a few years
01:00to make sure the user experience and adoption is handled best for app chains.
01:06But we can say by our experience that the recent upgrade,
01:09the Aetna upgrade, is perhaps the biggest one that we've come to see so far.
01:14And with this, of course, you know, we have been working in the background
01:19trying to see how is it that we can try to make the user experience smoother and smoother.
01:24And we're very happy to say that our collaboration has led to something of a pain point,
01:29which is on the infrastructure side for Avalanche L1s.
01:33So Avalanche L1 as a service is how you can understand it,
01:38where everything from deployment, management, monitoring, customizations even,
01:44to the protocol extent, or the configurations and the support that would be required
01:51for a typical Avalanche L1 is something we are able to package together into one offering.
01:56So just to run by some of these items that we are capturing in Cogitus,
02:02which is the name of the entire one-click management of Avalanche L1s,
02:08we are providing full configuration flexibility.
02:11So the idea is that we are able to encourage the amount of the rich configuration
02:17that Avalanche comes with already.
02:19And there, you know, we can configure the networks as advanced as possible.
02:26You guys will get to see it in a moment yourself.
02:29But of course, there could be some advanced configuration as well
02:32that you guys can, you know, reach out to us for directly,
02:35if you wish to have those configurations in place.
02:39Enterprise-grade node infrastructure.
02:41So whether you are a small-time WebC native company,
02:45an individual developer who's looking to have some Avalanche L1 network
02:49for their own application, or whether you are an enterprise,
02:52we provide enterprise-grade quality for all of our customers.
02:58And that comes due to, again, the same kind of experience,
03:01the kind of work that we've done in past with Avalanche as a setup.
03:08White-labelled Block Explorer.
03:10So, of course, if you're launching your own app chain with Avalanche L1s,
03:15it is important that you have something that fits in into your design,
03:20your theme, your branding.
03:23And for that purpose, we provide an inclusive white-labeling component
03:28to every UI that will be facing to your users.
03:32White-labelled Block Explorer is one.
03:34Cost-optimized super performance.
03:36So, again, we've got a few options here.
03:38Something that we'll also see in a bit.
03:41But again, even beyond this, there could be requirements
03:44which are even beyond what is that most people do in terms of performance.
03:50And our team can help formulate a strategy for benchmarking
03:55and better performance enhancement for your user base.
03:59Enterprise-grade SLA.
04:01So we have a 99.9% uptime guarantee for our Avalanche networks.
04:09And then also that is coupled with 24-7 support,
04:13where our team has quick response times and resolution times
04:17put all together into a single package.
04:20Hosted subgraphs and data APIs.
04:23A lot of time, your networks would require data indexing to be performed
04:29so your application can consume that rich queryable data
04:34directly into the application itself.
04:36And for that, we provide indexing services such as TraceI
04:41by the use of protocols like the graph or subquery.
04:46Global cloud coverage, we provide fully managed service at the end of the day
04:52so that anybody who's looking to deploy the Avalanche L1s
04:55don't have to worry about the underlying infrastructure itself.
04:58But if you choose to have some kind of, let's say, a preference,
05:04then it's likely that we provide that preference already.
05:07Partnership with about nine plus cloud providers
05:11covering over 150 regions across the globe.
05:16Node analytics and 24-7 proactive monitoring.
05:20So with, you know, good infrastructure is always backed up by good monitoring,
05:27good alert strategy, good escalations.
05:30And that is what we are able to provide as if, you know,
05:33it's in our DNA to provide a robust infrastructure,
05:35and that is what we are able to connect to cogitas as well.
05:40Production ready stack with all components.
05:42Of course, you know, it comes with additional services at times,
05:45you know, faucets for test nets,
05:47and maybe some additional third-party integrations as well,
05:50like interoperability bridges and wallet infrastructure,
05:54account abstraction.
05:55We've got integration partners across all of these verticals,
06:01and we are very happy to engage with them for your very action.
06:04So we become the single point of contact for you,
06:07for all the services, all the infrastructure components
06:10that you would require for your network.
06:13Migration assistance.
06:15So we've seen, you know, a lot of customers, you know, in the past
06:18who have worked with, you know, traditional blockchain network
06:23are encouraged, you know, to utilize Avalanche L1,
06:27but are quite confused on how to move to Avalanche networks itself.
06:31And the reason behind this has been that there's a bit of a,
06:36you know, learning curve when it comes to infrastructure aspect of it.
06:40And that is how we, you know, come in.
06:42We provide a bit of a consultation, a bit of, you know,
06:47some bit of background work of how is it that you can make your migration smooth.
06:52We come in, we provide a bunch of strategies, you know, for migration itself.
06:56There is strategy of various kinds with different trade-offs
07:00that one needs to consider.
07:01And with a particular strategy, we're able to also help in some
07:05good level of execution on the ground.
07:07And we would help you to migrate from your existing network
07:11to Avalanche L1 network in as smooth as fashion as possible.
07:15So with this, you know, we've launched a very lucrative subscription packages
07:22for our customers.
07:23You can launch your dev nets or your public testnet in just about $50 per month
07:29for your Avalanche L1 network.
07:31This is a bare minimum setup.
07:33But of course, as you want more and more nodes,
07:36or you want to upgrade to a public mainnet,
07:39that is very much possible as well on your existing base setup.
07:43The public testnet, they still cover 24-7 monitoring,
07:4824-7 support as well.
07:50And then beyond that, there is its fully managed infrastructure,
07:54standard supports, standard SLAs,
07:57which meets the needs of many of our customers, most of our customers.
08:00But of course, when you're looking for a mainnet kind of experience
08:03for your users, you'd want to have a bit more,
08:06you would want higher availability of your infrastructure,
08:10more RPCs, better SLA, better managed upgrades, enterprise-grade support,
08:21and also co-marketing as well.
08:23Co-marketing is something we provide for public testnet as well.
08:25But anyhow, for mainnet, you know, it becomes even a bigger of an engagement.
08:30That is what we have got for public mainnet purposes.
08:33And again, as I mentioned, with a lot of integration partners that have become relevant for Avalanche L1s.
08:45And we've got, you know, 50 plus partners across all the ecosystem.
08:49These are some of the logos that you guys can see at high level for a current abstraction,
08:55block explorers, data availability.
08:58Some of the integrations we provide out of the box, like Explorer and Faucet.
09:04But beyond that, you know, if you have a comment for, let's say,
09:07probability of decentralized sequencing or, you know, oracles indexing,
09:13all of that can be provided from our side.
09:15We can get you connected with these folks or, you know,
09:18have it integrated directly into your network as well.
09:24So this is, you know, a bit of what Avalanche L1 offering is.
09:28Maybe what we'll do is we'll jump onto a demonstration here,
09:32just to outline what is it that we are providing you.
09:37And you guys can, you know, try it out yourself as well.
09:40So I'm going to log in here with my account.
09:51And when I do, this is the dashboard that all of you will see on your very first login.
09:58Here you can see there's a demo network just for your, you know,
10:01view purposes of what is it that a typical Avalanche L1 may look like.
10:06Then we've got a test set.
10:09There's a mainnet, something that you can deploy for yourself.
10:12So deploy testnet is a button that I can see for myself.
10:15And then there's a mainnet for which, you know, you'd have to contact us.
10:18And we can understand your requirements,
10:21make sure that there is nothing that you are missing on your setup site.
10:26You have every bit of your infrastructure to need covered.
10:29So that is something that we would start discussing on.
10:32And that is how we initiate the mainnet setup itself.
10:36To look at what is it that this demo network looks like,
10:40because this is how your testnet would eventually also look like.
10:44You know, I just click on this new configuration button here.
10:46And this is just a bit of a reference of what a typical Avalanche L1 may look like.
10:53Not a lot of configurations are enabled here perhaps,
10:58but this is just a, you know, a small reference point of what a typical Avalanche L1 may look like.
11:04I can also look at the dashboard of the same L1.
11:11So this is what the dashboard of this demo network looks like.
11:14You can also just connect to the RPC node here to the Explorer.
11:19And you can also start doing some transactions yourselves as well using this dashboard.
11:25So with this, what we'll do is we'll deploy a testnet of our own.
11:42I'm going to click on deploy testnet button.
11:44And here I can give a name to my network.
11:48So let's say my
11:55Avalanche L1.
11:59Fuji testnet is what it is going to be connected to.
12:02It's proof of authority based consortium.
12:05If you're looking for proof of stake,
12:07you can reach out to us and we can enable that too.
12:10But many of the users,
12:11they usually like to go with proof of authority itself.
12:16Configuration fee.
12:17So there is low disuse, low throughput,
12:20medium disuse, medium throughput,
12:22high disuse, high throughput.
12:24We'll keep it medium for the time being.
12:27I can give a token symbol to my native token,
12:31gas token.
12:32So I'm just going to keep here my custom token.
12:35Why not?
12:36NYC.
12:39I can also see, you know, this is the initial token allocation.
12:43So this is just a valid address to which my 10 tokens will be allocated.
12:48I can provide even more addresses to my initial token allocation.
12:55So let me just put down an address here.
13:13So I've put down my address and you can put multiple of them for the initial token allocation.
13:26And then afterwards, I can also define some pre-compiled configurations.
13:33So this is first of all, my valid set of who's the owner of this valid set management.
13:39So I'm going to write my POA owner address.
13:42Then I can also enable further pre-compiled addresses as well.
13:46So let's say I would put down something for admin address here.
13:51And similarly, I can also define my manager address and my enabled addresses also.
13:58So native minter allow list basically is a contract that manages what kind of tokens should be minted on your chain itself.
14:08While you've got contract deployer allow list, which manages what are the contracts that shall be deployed onto your avalanche L1 and who should do those deployment of those contracts.
14:21So again, I can put down my admin address.
14:27Similarly, I can also enable transaction allow list, which is basically a configuration of who can, you know, do transactions on my L1 network itself.
14:41So not necessarily if you're having, let's say, a fully public network, then you might want to even disable it.
14:46But if you choose to, you know, have allow list, then you, you know, you want to make sure that it's understood that not everybody would be allowed to do transactions onto your network.
14:59Then fee manager, there are a lot of configurations that allow you to manage the fee of an ongoing network.
15:05One thing about avalanche L1 is the kind of dynamic configurations, on-chain configurations that avalanche L1s provide.
15:13And fee manager is just one of those configurations that you can dynamically change the kind of fee management that you want to allow onto your network.
15:22So here again, I'll, what I'll do is I'll just put down my admin owner address, reward manager.
15:31So here's what kind of rewards shall be distributed, who should be distributed to, whether it should be distributed to a central wallet or to different validators.
15:40That is something you can manage from here as well.
15:43And again, I'll just deploy, configure an admin address.
15:49With this in place, I can look at a bit of a preview of what is it that I'm about to deploy here.
15:55These are the tools and services.
15:59So I'll be deploying my L1 network with TraceHawk Explorer.
16:03And avalanche L1 is the core network that I'll be setting it up.
16:08And with the full monitoring dashboard, alerts, notifications, enterprise-grade SLA, and 24-7 tech support.
16:18So with this in place, I'm going to click on deploy testnet.
16:22I'll be redirected to up in our screen.
16:29Yeah.
16:30So this is our network.
16:31Once it is fully set up, as you can see here, I've logged in with another account.
16:36You'll find that your testnet section expands, where you can see your existing network.
16:43And all the status within this are marked now as completed.
16:48While if you want, you can also deploy a fresh testnet as well.
16:53And then you can, of course, post the mainnet tool.
16:56If I click on view dashboard, I'll find the same details with which I had deployed this network with.
17:04So a bit of an overview about the, you know, about my L1 network.
17:10The name of the network, the chain ID, the blockchain ID, the VM ID, the EVM chain ID.
17:17If it is connected to FujiNet testnet, then this is how it will be mentioned here.
17:23It will also talk about what was my token symbol, the chain type,
17:27what were the pre-compiles enabled on my L1 chain itself.
17:32And this is where I can see my status is now coming as deployed,
17:37which includes my RPC endpoint, the TraceHawk Explorer,
17:43and also where I can find my Avalanche L1 onto Avalanche Explorer as well.
17:48And finally, I've got my faucet as part of my L1 network also.
17:54For testnets that need to have their faucets,
17:58we also provide a white labeled faucet service as well.
18:03So if I were to open it, so this is a typical RPC endpoint that you can start using within your wallets,
18:08within your applications.
18:10A TraceHawk Explorer, well, this is by default out of stock as it comes,
18:17but this can be made fully white labeled according to your requirements, your use case, your branding theme.
18:27So whether you want to show the token prices for your network somewhere on the top,
18:34it is very configurable.
18:36And again, it can be white labeled according to the theme that you're running.
18:41This is a fairly fresh network.
18:43It has not got a lot of transactions, but all the features are pretty much the same as a typical blockchain explorer.
18:51But again, as I mentioned, it can be made configured according to your network that you're deploying it with.
18:58Then down the line, you can see the key management that is present here, the pre-compiled management keys,
19:07POA owner address, native mentor allow list, contract deployer allow list, transaction allow list, reward manager, fee manager.
19:16Again, so Avalanche supports a bunch of very mature management contracts
19:22and our idea is that we want to encourage usage of those contracts in the right fashion.
19:29So this is what a typical element looks like, from which point I can start using it right away.
19:34Of course, behind the scenes, there's a lot of work that goes in in terms of deployment,
19:39making sure that these servers that are set up, they are done so with the right amount of monitoring.
19:45So we configure every blockchain node with system level metrics monitoring, with CPU memory, network,
19:51I.O., disk utilization, you know, what is the amount of bandwidth that is left onto the machines itself,
19:56what kind of CPU load that you're facing.
19:58But then also a lot of blockchain metrics like the number of peers that every node is connected to,
20:05what is the staking period, is it about end or not,
20:08what is the balance that you are left with into certain crucial wallets that may require the balances on,
20:14et cetera, et cetera.
20:15So, you know, based on these alerts, we are able to issue warnings to our support team,
20:20but also towards you yourself who's running these L1 networks for your use case.
20:28And we recognize, you know, that there's a lot of other items that we have to put in together
20:35based on our experience with Avalanche elements.
20:38But yeah, this is the very Avalanche L1 management from Cogitus.
20:44We're identifying more and more features to provide from here onwards.
20:50One is, of course, that you should be able to perform administrative control from here,
20:56this dashboard itself, where you can allow or disallow certain validers to participate onto your network.
21:03As it is with POV networks, you can drop or add in certain validers based on requirements.
21:09It would allow you to also have multi-party based network management,
21:16where you can expect that other parties can set up their nodes as well,
21:20being part of the same L1 network that you've just deployed with this dashboard here.
21:24So this multi-tenant setup is something that we are working on fully automating.
21:29But if you have the need, again, we are supporting it already on demand basis with our support team,
21:35with something of a process that you're looking to automate.
21:38And further, you know, we are also trying to bring more and more features from our previous experience of Avalanche L1s and Avalanche subnets.
21:45And we are trying to, you know, make those features implemented to clear itself in Pogita's dashboard.
21:52But of course, this has been a bit of a work with a lot of our partners, including many of our customers,
22:01who are running Avalanche L1s with us, but of course, all the team folks from Avalanche team itself,
22:08who have been a very, you know, helping hand, a big helping hand in making this possible,
22:14in giving us feedback of what is it that we can improve on these splashboards?
22:18What is it that we can add, remove, subtract?
22:21And I think that kind of support will continue from here itself, as we continue to add more and more good stuff onto our product.
22:31Same way, we would encourage it highly if you guys would also, you know, provide support, show your interest, give us some feedback.
22:41We are happy with all kind of feedbacks, how we're, you know, criticizing or, you know, constructively necessarily.
22:49I think we appreciate all sort of feedback. So looking forward to it.
22:53We, Zeev team here, we're going to do our best to add more and more interesting features.
22:59And I would say that stay tuned for whatever updates we continue to provide on our social channels,
23:04for whatever interesting bit that we add from here onwards.
23:09So thanks a lot for tuning in and hope to see you next time with something interesting.
