Days of Heroes: D-Day have a two unique perspectives, experience the largest landing operation in martial history regarding the forces and means used. Take on the role of an airborne division jumper who descends into enemy territory to destabilize the enemy troops under the cover of night. Alternately, become a soldier beginning their heavy crossing of Omaha beach on D-Day.

Complete diversified military missions, from short- and long-range skirmishes with Nazis, by employing anti-aircraft fire, destroying enemy tanks, and breaking through the trenches and escaping from a firing squad. Use over a dozen weapons typical to the World War II period that have been accurately reproduced in terms of appearance and mechanics.

Finish the campaign and practice your skills on the shooting range, which offers four different gameplay modes. Once ready, try Hardcore Mode, which will take your cleverness, strategic thinking, and will to survive to the extreme.

00:30This is Days of Heroes by the developer ZenApp Studios. It was released on the 28th of November
00:382022. Now these guys are about to release Days of Heroes Stalingrad so I want to get my review
00:44in on this one quickly before that one comes out. About the game. Jump right into the battle of
00:49World War 2. You will be placed into many scenarios that you have to fight your way through or out of
00:55including the D-Day landing. Levels and size. There are 23 missions to get through. Each
01:00mission varies. Some may take a few minutes and some may take 15 minutes but each level
01:05offering something different. The graphics are not great but they are fun and playful and I think
01:10it really suits this game. Then you have a choice of four target shooting games to play. Static
01:15shooting, round shooting, dynamic shooting and artillery shooting. Enemies and bosses. I mean
01:21it's just soldiers so nothing out of the ordinary. Might have been good to see some maybe attack
01:26dogs in here and there. There are also some vehicles though like tanks and transport carriers.
01:31On medium setting the enemies seem fair. Different ranked soldiers seem to be tougher the higher rank
01:37they are. Weapons. There are all the weapons of World War 2 included. Pistols, rifles, automatics,
01:44grenade launchers, flamethrower and grenades from both sides. The US and Germany. Plus there's a couple
01:50weapons out in the field which you get to use. The sniper gun will slow time down as you are using
01:56it until it runs out of ammo. The ammo reloads automatically after a few seconds. It has a
02:01progress wheel so you can keep track of it. I gotta say that using the large artillery gun is a lot of
02:07fun. For loading it up to adjusting the aim it's just fun. Mechanics. Story is perfect. Graphics look
02:14great. I mean they are not lifelike but they suit the game being blocky. It makes it feel more fun
02:20and doesn't take itself too seriously. The guns feel good to shoot. Characters and AI bots all do
02:26what they are meant to do. I did have some issues with the turn wheels on the artillery gun but
02:31nothing major that ruins the game. It could be improved though. Controls. I mean run, shoot, grab,
02:38throw, climb. It's all really basic stuff and will take minutes to learn. Game menus. Menus all fit in
02:44with the game's theme perfectly. You have the usual three difficulty settings. Easy, normal and hard.
02:49Then there's training or gameplay. My thoughts. This game really is just a great and fun arcade
02:56type shooter. It concentrates on the fun rather than the graphics which is quite nice sometimes.
03:01It's going to give you a few hours gameplay at least for a decent price. I wouldn't pay any more than 15
03:07dollars for it and if you can catch it on a 30% or more sale absolutely don't hesitate in buying it.
03:13I'd have liked to have seen some more humour like silly type lego type humour. I think it would lend
03:18itself well into this style of game. I'd also like to have seen some more mini games to help
03:23with a replayability value or more challenges, targets to meet in the game to aim for at the
03:28end of each level. Maybe some hidden collectibles and trophies. But I am looking forward to the next
03:34game they are bringing out very soon. Just playing old-fashioned fun which is how games are meant to be.
03:40So overall I mark Days of Heroes an 8.8 stars. Now please hit that like button and subscribe button
03:48and be part of the community. Let's all support one another in our gaming experiences. Thanks guys and happy gaming.
04:02I'll see you next time.
04:14Bye.
