00:00What do you think the Red Sox are looking at doing between now and the trade deadline?

00:03I wouldn't be surprised if they traded an outfielder.

00:06I know that one team has told me that they had introduced Jaron Duran into a conversation.

00:13I don't think that should come as any surprise.

00:15And not to say that, hey, we're going to absolutely trade Jaron Duran.

00:19But at some point, whether it's this year or whether it's after this year,

00:24they're going to have to figure this out.

00:25They have too many guys, especially hitting from the same side of the plate.

00:30It is going to be a challenging thing.

00:31I think they'll probably ride this out a little bit because you don't know what's going to happen.

00:36You don't know if someone gets hurt and then it's going to turn the other way.

00:39But if you get to the trade deadline and you're still in this situation,

00:43I would not be surprised at all for them to say, hey, we're going to trade a guy

00:48who is a very, very useful guy for something else.

00:52And I don't think that should be perceived as selling.

00:55Guys, I mean, at this point, the buying-selling thing,

00:58we already talked about how motivated they are to be perceived as buyers.

01:04And now that you're four games over .500, you are where you are in the standings.

01:08You've sort of righted the ship in terms of perception of what you are as a team.

01:12I mean, you have to be.

01:13You have to do whatever you can to win this year.

01:17And that's why that Bregman report made no sense,

01:20the whole they would be open to trading Bregman.

01:23No, they aren't.

01:29If they were to trade Jaron Duran, what do you think the clubhouse reaction would be?

01:36I mean, I think that a lot of guys in there love Jaron Duran.

01:40They respect Jaron Duran.

01:41They think he's part of the solution.

01:44But it is what it is.

01:46I think that we had Adam Adovino on.

01:49He was talking about the Devers thing the other day.

01:51And he said, you know, as baseball players, yeah, you might get rattled a little bit.

01:56And then you sort of move on.

01:58I don't.

01:59But I'm not going to compare this to Devers.

02:01You know, I don't think it's apples to apples.

02:03I think Duran is more of the fabric of this team than certainly Devers was.

02:10So, yeah, it would definitely be a risk.
