Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a £55 million deal to sign Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United, with the Ghanaian forward expected to pen a six-year contract.
Kudus had a release clause of £85 million that expired earlier this month, but Spurs successfully negotiated a lower fee. The move ends a 13-year transfer freeze between the two London clubs, with Kudus set to become the first player to move directly from West Ham to Spurs since Scott Parker in 2011.

00:00Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a £55m deal to sign Mohamed Kudas from West Ham United,
00:07with the Ghanaian forward expected to pen a six-year contract.
00:11Kudas had a release clause of £85m that expired earlier this month,
00:16but Spurs successfully negotiated a lower fee.
00:19The move ends a 13-year transfer freeze between the two London clubs,
00:23with Kudas set to become the first player to move directly from West Ham to Spurs
00:28since Scott Parker in 2011.
00:31Spurs head coach Thomas Frank is also showing interest in reunited with Johan Wisser,
00:36whom he previously coached at Brentford.
00:38Wisser, who scored 19 Premier League goals last season, is keen on the move,
00:43but Brentford are reluctant to let him go,
00:46especially after already losing Brian Mbwemo to Manchester United.
00:51Turning 29 in September, Wisser's age may impact how much Spurs are willing to offer,
00:56with Newcastle United also monitoring the situation.
01:00It remains unclear whether Tottenham will push forward with a deal for Wisser
01:04following their successful move for Kudas,
01:07but the club had been exploring a double attacking boost
01:09as they prepare for Champions League football under Frank.
01:13Get it over the line, so I'm hoping that gets done.
01:17I think it'll be a real signal of intent, and we're backing Thomas Frank there,
01:20which would be a really good barometer going forward.
01:23But, as always with Spurs, until you see the here we go from Fabrizio Romano,
01:29or you see the official video coming out on the Spurs website,
01:32it's never done until it's done.
01:33So, I'd say it's in the balance, but hopefully the balance will tip towards Spurs,
01:37and we'll get that one done.
01:38For West Ham, the Kudas sale provides vital funds for a squad rebuild
01:43under new manager Graham Potter.
01:46Signed from Ajax for £40m in 2023,
01:49Kudas scored 14 goals in his first season,
01:51but netted just five last term in a struggling Hammers side.
01:56The Kudas transfer signals a fresh era for Spurs,
01:59who are rebuilding with energy and tactical flexibility under Frank.
02:03The potential addition of Wisser could further bolster their front line,
02:07while West Ham now look to reinvest wisely after losing one of their key attacking assets.
