Mohammed Kudus completes move across London for Tottenham as transfer freeze broken for first time since 2011

Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a £55 million deal to sign Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United, with the Ghanaian forward expected to pen a six-year contract.  Kudus had a release clause of £85 million that expired earlier this month, but Spurs successfully negotiated a lower fee. The move ends a 13-year transfer freeze between the two London clubs, with Kudus set to become the first player to move directly from West Ham to Spurs since Scott Parker in 2011.

00:43but Brentford are reluctant to let him go,

00:46especially after already losing Brian Mbwemo to Manchester United.

00:51Turning 29 in September, Wisser's age may impact how much Spurs are willing to offer,

00:56with Newcastle United also monitoring the situation.

01:00It remains unclear whether Tottenham will push forward with a deal for Wisser

01:04following their successful move for Kudas,

01:07but the club had been exploring a double attacking boost

01:09as they prepare for Champions League football under Frank.

01:17I think it'll be a real signal of intent, and we're backing Thomas Frank there,

01:20which would be a really good barometer going forward.

01:33So, I'd say it's in the balance, but hopefully the balance will tip towards Spurs,
