00:00Have the meal. Do you want to ask any questions, please?
00:03Where is my reporter from Africa? There you are.
00:06How are you?
00:08I'm fine. Thank you, Mr. President.
00:10She's very famous in Africa.
00:14Thank you. Thank you.
00:19I have one question for the African presidents
00:22and one question for President Trump.
00:24As you can see, Mr. President Trump,
00:26all the African presidents are very happy with your efforts
00:31to bring peace in the Democrat Republic of the Congo.
00:35My question to you is, today you are making history
00:39by receiving five African presidents
00:42and showing the interest of the United States
00:45to collaborate and to work close with the African nations.
00:49African continent is watching.
00:51African youth is watching.
00:53And this new approach that your administration
00:56is taking to deal with African nations,
00:59not only based on help,
01:00but in doing business that everybody can win,
01:04is really much appreciated for all the Africans.
01:07My question is,
01:08are you planning, Mr. President,
01:10in the future to travel to Africa,
01:14to see firsthand all those countries in Africa,
01:19all those potentials that those countries have?
01:22And for the African leaders,
01:24my question is,
01:26as you can see,
01:27President Trump is working to bring peace,
01:30not only in Africa,
01:31but also in the world.
01:32Are you all considering to nominate President Trump
01:36for a Nobel Prize piece?
01:39That's a very nice reporter.
01:41I got to meet her two weeks ago
01:44when we had the Congo and Rwanda
01:49and we had some other people up from Africa
01:52and that was the first time.
01:55But that's very nice.
01:57I appreciate the questions.
01:58Very nice, actually.
02:00Would you like to,
02:02at some point I would like to go to Africa.
02:04Absolutely.
02:05We're going to see what the schedule is,
02:06but at some point I would like to do that very much.
02:08Would you like to give a fast answer, please?
02:15Thank you very much.
02:17Of course we are supporting this.
02:18Microphone, please.
02:21Yeah, microphone.
02:26We are in favor of this dynamic for peace.
02:35We are very committed on peace.
02:39I am the first head of state
02:41who went to Russia
02:43and who went to Ukraine both
02:45since the start of the war.
02:48I was,
02:49I held the presidency of ECOWAS
02:51and I went to see Mr. Putin.
02:54We spoke for four hours
02:56and then I went to Ukraine.
02:57I spent 12 hours on a train
03:01to speak to President Zelensky.
03:04But now the weight of President Trump
03:06is something else altogether.
03:08We are with you.
03:09We are behind you
03:11to see what we can do
03:12to help bring peace back.
03:15No one wins when there's war.
03:18So you have our support
03:19so that we can bring peace back.
03:24Very nice.
03:25Thank you very much.
03:25Appreciate it.
03:26Go ahead, please.
03:31Thank you, Mr. President Trump.
03:34Thank you
03:35for your questions.
03:42A Nobel Peace Prize,
03:44while I don't see any problem with it,
03:46I think that President Trump
03:49deserves it
03:50for all the efforts
03:51that he's worked on.
03:53and he brought peace back
03:57in the SIAC region.
04:00That is my region,
04:02the region where DRC
04:03and Rwanda signed a deal.
04:07And so he is now bringing
04:09peace back into a region
04:11where that was never possible.
04:13So I believe that he does
04:14deserve a Nobel Peace Prize.
04:17That is my opinion on this.
04:19Well, thank you very much.
04:20It's very, very nice.
04:23I didn't know I'd be treated this nicely.
04:25This is great.
04:26We could do this all day long.
04:29Thank you very much.
04:30Please, go ahead.
