00:12The lads are amazing. Their energy is on a very high level. We saw that from the first and second.
00:20They make it very easy for us to step into the group, to support them and to grow together as a team.
00:27We're here in the lovely Portugal. How have you found the first day here and the training camp?
00:34It's good. It's a good environment. It's good weather. We love the sun. It's very good here. The pitches are good. The boys are motivated.
00:43The circumstances are on a very good level to get a good week behind us.
00:48We're talking to you straight off the training pitch. A light session yesterday, but really the first proper session today. How was that?
00:54Yeah, the big topic was transition. The boys stepped into the training in a small possession drill, which they did it very well.
01:05And then we went in a transition game because transition is a very important topic for us. Yeah, they did a good job.
01:14And Bristol Rovers' Dan Ellison has reflected on the Gatter's 2-1 win over Chippenham Town in their first game of pre-season.
01:24Yeah, I mean, it's the first pre-season game, so it's good to get minutes into everyone's legs.
01:28We've been working really hard. So, yeah, it's good to get back out on the pitch, play a match against a great opposition who held on really well.
01:39And yeah, it was good to get back out there.
01:41Yeah, your familiar surroundings here at Chippenham. What was it like to be back and maybe see some familiar faces as well?
01:46Yeah, it was brilliant. I think I've had about 100 conversations with people that I know.
01:50So, yeah, it was great to see everyone that I maybe haven't seen for a while.
01:55And yeah, yeah, I love Chippenham and coming through the academy here.
01:58So, it holds a big place in my heart and a big reason why I'm here.
02:01So, yeah, it was really good to be back and to speak to some old faces.
02:06You spoke about working hard there. What have you made of Daryl Clark and sort of coming back to the men as well?
02:13Yeah, it's been brilliant. It's been really tough.
