00:00To start, tell us a little bit about yourself.
00:06Give us your name, where you're from, and what you do.
00:09My name is Keanu Soto.
00:11I'm a personal trainer and nutritionist from McKinney, Texas.
00:15What's your reaction to getting to play Big Brother?
00:19It feels great to be a house guest on Big Brother.
00:21It's been a long journey to get here, and I'm just happy that it's finally here.
00:27Tell us a little bit about your life in the outside world.
00:30And how that has prepared you for Big Brother.
00:33A little bit about myself.
00:35I've been doing personal training for 15 years now.
00:40In that line of work, you do meet a variety of different folks.
00:45I believe that, and coupled up with my ability to do improv and things of that nature,
00:52I feel like it gives me the tools and the ability to, like I said, connect with a variety of folks.
01:00But the improv aspect of it gives me the ability to think quickly on my feet.
01:09And when things might not necessarily go the way that you envision them to, that's a tremendous skill to have.
01:16And, yeah, just my ability to dungeon master as well, if you will.
01:23You know, being a dungeon master, you've got to step into different roles, become different people.
01:30And I feel like being able to do that will provide me with a unique skill set that a lot of people don't have or are not familiar with.
01:42And that will ultimately give me an edge.
01:45Why did you want to compete on Big Brother?
01:46Why did I want to compete on Big Brother?
01:51Honestly, I really just want to challenge myself.
01:53You know, I feel like a lot of people may look at it on TV and be like, I could do that.
01:58And I don't think people really realize what it takes.
02:00I realize what it takes, and I feel like I would do exceptionally well.
02:04So I really want to just challenge myself.
02:07Why will you win Big Brother?
02:10I'm going to be the one to win because I can tell you right now I want it more than everybody else.
02:16I know everybody's going to say that.
02:19But, man, I feel like I have a complete game.
02:21I have the social, the physical aspect of it, the mental aspect of it.
02:25I feel like I just have what it takes to win.
02:27What are your biggest strengths?
02:30My strengths are my social, my ability to connect with people.
02:33So my social game.
02:35And like I said, I'm no slouch on the physical side of things either.
02:38And I believe that people underestimating or by looking at me and seeing that he's probably a physical comp beast,
02:47they will underestimate my mental game as well.
02:49So I feel like that is a strength that we'll have going in.
02:53What are your biggest weaknesses?
02:55Yeah, definitely.
02:57I trust people way too easily.
03:00I like to think that I have a good read on people.
03:03But if I don't, that's definitely something that they could take advantage of.
03:08I definitely trust too easily.
03:11Do you plan on keeping any secrets about yourself from the other house guests?
03:16No, I mean, as far as like profession and things like that, you know, personal trainer, that's a pretty common profession.
03:22And the fact that I'm like a super nerd or something like that, I don't think necessarily that'll be a detriment to know.
03:31If anything, it'll make me more relatable to people.
03:34So no, I don't, I don't think I'll withhold any information.
03:39I'll gain, I'll gain my enemy's trust.
03:41And, you know, this is Big Brother.
03:43So I, it may not be normally in my character to betray that trust, but you got to do what you got to do to win $750,000, right?
03:52What are you bringing to the show that nobody has seen before?
03:57I've, I've seen quite a few seasons of the show now.
04:00And I don't believe there's ever quite been like someone who looks like, like me.
04:06That is, you know, quite as charismatic.
04:09I know Brent from like season 20, I think it was.
04:13He was pretty, he was a pretty charismatic built guy, but he's definitely not like nerdy like me.
04:18And I, I like to think of myself as a chameleon, a very well-rounded, like personality.
04:25So I feel like I have the ability to get along with a vast array of people in spite of what I look like.
04:33What's your strategy going into the game?
04:35Man, I really just want to focus on my strengths initially, which is just connecting with people.
04:43I feel like someone or a player that was very good at that in the two seasons that he was on was Enzo.
04:52I know he's originally from season 12.
04:54I can't remember what the all-star season was, but he was in that one as well with Cody.
04:57And I feel like his, his social game and his ability to connect with people always takes some far in the game.
05:06I feel like he just never quite built on the like capital, I guess, that he was building and quite was able to utilize that to his advantage.
05:17I feel like he's just, his strength was just his social game.
05:20Whereas I feel like I bring a little bit more of a complete package as terms of like physicality and things like that.
05:27So I feel like I would have a similar game plan, you know, just being social, connecting with people, letting them know that I, you know, will fight for them.
05:36And I could, in that vein, they'll probably end up fighting for me as well and take each other to the end.
05:42And when it comes time to be one-on-one, that's when I'm going to, I'm going to pounce and I'm going to show, you know, my, my true ability, my true form, if you will.
05:51What makes Big Brother such a successful show after 25 years?
05:56From my personal experience, I love the strategy aspect of it.
06:02I feel like the, the nature of the game of, you know, building connections and sometimes having to flip on those connections and kind of really never knowing what's going to happen.
06:16As they say, expect the unexpected.
06:19You know, when you don't know what to expect, it keeps you coming in for more, right?
06:23So I feel like Big Brother definitely has a good grasp on, on that.
06:28And that's why it's been, had such a long tenure, yeah.
06:31Big Brother, why will you be the player to watch this season?
06:36I'll definitely, I'll be the one to watch this summer because, like I said, I have the capability physically to win comps.
06:42I know that's always like a fan favorite from what I understand.
06:47You know, my social game is going to be there.
06:49So I'm always going to be having, you know, game conversations, not too early because I know that people that play too hard at the beginning end up getting the boot.
06:56But yeah, I'm just going to be very involved in a lot of different aspects of the game.
07:01And I feel like I personally have the capability to be very low key and slick about it without making it seem like I'm trying too hard, you know, to put a target on my back.
07:13Would you be open for a showmance?
07:15I'm Team Nomance.
07:19I want to win $750,000.
07:22I don't need an Achilles heel.
07:25What will be your secret weapon in the house?
07:29My secret weapon, I believe, is my charisma.
07:33Like I said earlier, I feel like I have the ability to connect with people.
07:40So it's a pretty unsuspecting thing coming from someone who looks like me.
07:47So, yeah.
07:49What's on your big brother bucket list?
07:53BB bucket list.
07:55Well, number one, win $750,000.
07:58Number two, I really want to, I like that game where you like throw the ball over the little hill 250 times.
08:11I feel like people look at that on the show and they're just like, I could do that.
08:15And I don't think they realize how much that makes your legs burn doing like a shuttle run 250 times.
08:21But I feel like that's a competition that I've always wanted to try and win.
08:28I think really, yeah, just honestly, I'm really looking forward to the cops.
08:33They just all seem like super fun.
08:35And, yeah.
08:37So I'd say those are my big two.
08:40$750,000, playing the cops.
08:42What will be the easiest and hardest parts of being a house guest?
08:47The hardest part about being a house guest, for me personally, because I've always lived by myself,
08:53is going to be living with 15 other people.
08:58Um, and also, possibly having to wait to use the restroom.
09:02That sounds horrible.
09:04Um, uh, probably another hard thing would probably be like being a have-not.
09:10I feel like that would probably be pretty difficult.
09:13The easiest part about being a house guest.
09:16Uh, I don't, I don't want to say it's going to be easy.
09:18I feel like I personally will handle it easier than most.
09:22Uh, just being disconnected from the outside world.
09:25Um, that actually sounds like a vacation to me, so.
09:30What are some standout moments for you from the past 25 years of Big Brother?
09:36Favorite standout moments.
09:38Ooh, uh, classic, classic, uh, I want to say it's season 6, uh, with, uh, Maggie and Kaser
09:49when he goes up, when she's like, oh, you just sealed my fate in this game.
09:53He's like, no, I just sealed your partner's fate.
09:56Badass line.
09:58That's a badass line.
10:00Uh, let's see.
10:03Another one.
10:05Uh, season 12, Rachel, Floaters Grab Your Life Vest.
10:09That's classic.
10:11The Beast Mode Cowboy, Caleb.
10:12Yeah, when Derek is talking to Beast Mode Cowboy, Caleb, uh, and he boosts his ego up
10:17and he's like, in the diary room, he's like, and that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you
10:20win $750,000.
10:23I'm telling you, if I'm coming in here, I'm coming in here to win.
