00:00So I want to start with before the feeds went down before the eviction yesterday, you had sort of told Vince, if I'm up on the block after that blockbuster, I'm gone.
00:09But obviously, in the sort of in-between period before the votes happened, there was a lot of, you know, chaotic chatter with you, with a lot of the other House guests.
00:18So what did you think your chances were of staying in that period of time? And did that at all fuel this eviction speech you put out?
00:25Yeah, I think it was probably pre-40-60. Like, I think 60% chance I go home, 40% I stay.
00:31And from my perspective, I didn't realize that, you know, people like Riley were, you know, going to get rid of me.
00:36But I like to think that, you know, I think I pretty much convinced Ashley, I'm not exactly sure how she voted, but if she didn't vote to keep me, she was at least considering it heavily, which, you know, somebody that was obviously one of Amy's closer allies.
00:49And so I think I had pretty close to the numbers. But obviously, I think a couple people flipped last second.
00:54I think there were a couple people that, you know, were kind of deceiving me a little bit.
00:57And so I obviously didn't have the numbers. I was, you know, too short, two votes that flopped, short of a tiebreaker.
01:02And I would know I would have a tiebreaker with Vinny.
01:04Well, Ashley did vote to evict you, just to clarify.
01:07Okay, yeah, yeah.
01:08Well, let's rewind to the beginning of this tumultuous 10-day period for you,
01:12because I'm sure you did not expect a spotlight to be shown on you on that very first night when, you know, you are accused of being the accomplice.
01:21Riley said it's like, I saw he was red in the face, and he was looking around.
01:25What was your reaction to that?
01:26I mean, honestly, I thought it was kind of funny.
01:28I don't know. I feel like I'm, I try to have fun in every moment.
01:31And I went in the house, and, you know, people are talking about this accomplice.
01:34And I knew that they, I knew I wasn't.
01:37And so when people, like, I think Ashley at one point had asked me, you know, are you the accomplice?
01:41I was kind of joking, like, oh, maybe, you know.
01:43And obviously, if I'm the accomplice, I'm not going to say that.
01:45I would lie.
01:45And so I kind of didn't think people would take it seriously, but then they started spreading around.
01:49Like, he literally said he was the accomplice.
01:50And so, you know, that wasn't probably not my best move.
01:53And I was like, wow, I really got to, like, watch what I say with the jokes, because, you know, it might put me in hot water.
01:59And so I did get a couple votes.
02:00They didn't fully accuse.
02:01Like, I wasn't the one that, you know, that was, honestly, I kind of wish I was the one that had all the votes,
02:05because then they would have known it wasn't me.
02:06But I think it blew over pretty fast.
02:09I think people at this point don't think there's an accomplice, even though now we know it's Amy,
02:12which kind of makes sense, you know, because Rachel is the one that came in.
02:15And, you know, there's she's a second mom figure, kind of.
02:18But at this point in the house, people don't really think there is an accomplice, as far as I know.
02:23All right.
02:23Well, you mentioned Rachel.
02:25We'd be remiss not to get into the conflict that the two of you had to carry forward through your eviction speech.
02:32Talk to me about your intentions here.
02:34You know, it's obvious that you felt that she was, you know, doing certain things to, you know,
02:39hopefully lead to you going specifically over Amy.
02:42What was your thinking behind deciding to, like, pseudo confront her about this stuff?
02:48Yeah, 100 percent.
02:49You know, obviously, Amy was their closest ally.
02:51And Amy wasn't really in there playing necessarily a game.
02:53She was kind of just on Rachel's leash.
02:56And so Rachel essentially has two votes right now.
02:58And she's the player that has the most experience in the game.
02:59And so I figured that, you know, if I get evicted, there's a decent chance because people view me as a threat,
03:04which obviously I can't be that much of a threat because I lost all the challenges that I was in.
03:07But, or competitions, I mean, they're called.
03:09But, you know, I thought that if I could kind of take the threat and make me look as less of a threat
03:16and Rachel's more of a threat because people were already kind of scared of her for whatever reason,
03:19then, you know, it could help me stay in the game, especially if I come up and I say that I will target her.
03:24I thought people would maybe view that as kind of, okay, we can use him until they, you know,
03:29he gets rid of Rachel for us because no one else wants to do it.
03:32And then we can evict him.
03:34And that's kind of what I was going for.
03:34And then obviously in that time, I would hopefully make strategies to stay in longer after I get out Rachel.
03:39But that was kind of my goal going into it is I want to make her look like a bigger target.
03:43Amy's with her.
03:44And so if I can play that card, then maybe they'll downplay the target that I am.
03:47And then maybe they want to make me.
03:49You mentioned on feeds that you had asked ChatGPT for some strategic advice before going into Big Brother.
03:56What do you think is the biggest advice that was given to you?
03:59And how do you think it ended up playing into the fate of your game?
04:03Honestly, ChatGPT, it gave me, like, it didn't give me the best advice.
04:06Like, it gave me pretty generic advice for the most part, you know.
04:09I love ChatGPT, don't get me wrong.
04:11But I don't think that there is a specific, like, strategy or anything that it could give me because there isn't one, you know.
04:15And so my conversations with ChatGPT led me to come to the conclusion that I just need to go in and, you know, be open to any strategy.
04:24I'm not going to come in, you know, I'm going to kind of go with the flow and come with the strategies while I'm in the house.
04:29But it did give me, you know, just very, like, generic tips of, you know, what to do in this situation, like, and alliances and things like that in general.
04:37But honestly, it was nothing like I expected going to the house, you know, talking game, doing all this stuff.
04:42It was nothing like I expected.
04:43But I feel like I kind of caught on to it pretty fast, maybe a little bit too late, which was maybe my downfall.
04:48But I do think I caught on pretty fast and I kind of understood.
04:49And I honestly, like, forgot half of the stuff that ChatGPT told me.
04:53So you had mentioned that had you stayed and had you won HOH, you were going to nominate three women.
04:59And you had mentioned that, you know, you felt like one of the major reasons you had gone is because you were a guy.
05:05Talk to me a bit about that thinking and how do you look back on it now that, you know, you're 12-esque hours removed from the house?
05:10Yeah, honestly, I know I mentioned that at one point.
05:12But honestly, I actually think I would have probably put up Rachel and probably Jimmy as well.
05:18And then one of the girls that was working with Rachel closely.
05:21That was what I decided by the end of it.
05:23Just because I knew Jimmy was kind of hedging his best.
05:25He's playing both sides.
05:26He's telling me he's going to keep me in.
05:27I knew he was lying.
05:28But I didn't want to call him out just in the off chance that he was going to keep me in.
05:31I don't want to screw that up, you know.
05:33And so that was actually my plan.
05:35Like, I kind of mentioned a couple different plans if I won HOH.
05:38Obviously, I didn't get to.
05:39But that was kind of, you know, my plan going into it is obviously Rachel is my clear enemy.
05:44I want to take shots at the people that are closest to her and her if I win HOH.
05:48And it makes it, you know, power in my hands where I know I can get out one of her allies at least that week.
05:52Now, look, I would be remiss if I did not mention that a few nights ago we heard you on the feeds while playing chess with Keanu, say, the R word.
06:02Which a lot of fans very understandably took a lot of umbrage with.
06:08Now that you're out of the house, I just want to give you the opportunity to speak on that if you'd like.
06:14Yeah, of course.
06:15Obviously, I apologize.
06:16It was not my intention to offend anybody.
06:18I know those were offensive in words that nobody should say.
06:21I tried to correct myself as soon as I could and move on from it.
06:23And hopefully people don't look at me as less or a bad person be because of the things that I said.
06:28But I do apologize to anyone affected or offended by that.
06:31Thank you for that.
06:32Well, let's finish on a fun note here, Zay.
06:34We're going to play a game with you.
06:36It's a little bit of a word association.
06:38So I'm going to give you the name of one of the people left in the house.
06:42And you're going to give me the first word or few words that come to mind for that person.
06:46Just like any word or?
06:48Any word you like.
06:49First thing that comes to your mind.
06:51Okay, let's do it.
06:52Well, let's start with Adrian.
06:54Adrian, I would say trustworthy.
06:57If he gives me my word, I trust Adrian that he will go through with it.
07:01Amy.
07:02Amy, I would say very loving.
07:05You know, I don't think she's there playing a very strategic game.
07:07But she's like a very nice, wholesome person.
07:10Ashley.
07:12Ashley, I think I would say Ashley's calculated.
07:19You know, she's playing strategic game.
07:22And I think she knows when to make moves and when not to make moves.
07:26Hmm.
07:27Ava?
07:29Ava.
07:29I think Ava is very unique.
07:31She's super funny.
07:33And she has a very, like, awesome, like, personality.
07:36Very different than mine.
07:37But, like, it was super cool to, like, hang out with her and get to chat with her.
07:40But she is very unique.
07:41You talked to him a bit ago.
07:43But how about Jimmy?
07:44Jimmy?
07:45I think he's very witty.
07:46He's very quick and witty.
07:48And I think he's a great guy.
07:51And extremely smart.
07:52Knows the game very well.
07:54Catherine.
07:54Catherine.
07:55Catherine.
07:56I think Catherine is, she's kind of laying low a little bit.
08:01And she's playing a smart game.
08:03She's not making herself a target.
08:04And she's, you know, has a good relationship with everyone in the house.
08:07Kelly.
08:09Kelly.
08:09I think Kelly is very smart.
08:12But I think she's kind of put herself a little bit on the outs.
08:15And, you know, kind of played a little bit too hard too early.
08:19And so, I do think she will go decently soon.
08:21How about Keanu?
08:23Keanu's just fun, is my word for him.
08:25Like, he's a fun guy.
08:27Like, I love hanging out with him.
08:28He's one of my boys.
08:29And he's big, too.
08:30He's super big.
08:32And big as hell.
08:33There we go.
08:34Lauren.
08:35Lauren, I would say more reserved.
08:37She's, I think she's a little bit scared to make decisions.
08:40She waited until right before eviction to, you know, make her decision of who she was going to keep in the house.
08:45Which could play to, you know, a con for her.
08:49But I think that if she can, you know, end up choosing a side and not be wishy-washy every week, then she can, you know, make a good run in this game.
08:56How about Mickey?
08:58Mickey?
08:59Hilarious.
09:00Mickey's super funny.
09:01She's quick with jokes.
09:02And I think she's, like, just a super hilarious and fun person.
09:06Morgan.
09:07I would say smart.
09:10People don't realize she's very calculated.
09:12You know, when I was playing chess with her, she barely knew, like, the strategies.
09:16But I could see her putting it together really easily.
09:18All right.
09:19I'm sure you got some words to describe Rachel.
09:22Rachel.
09:23I mean, honestly, I love, like, as a person, like, Rachel's a great person.
09:26She's a great wife, great mom.
09:29I think that, I mean, obviously, like, we didn't have the best relationship.
09:33I do think that she thinks very highly of herself.
09:38And she was talking about herself a lot.
09:39Not, obviously, my favorite person in the house.
09:42But I do think that she's a great, you know, person at heart.
09:45And she has good intentions.
09:47Riley.
09:48Riley is hilarious.
09:50And he's country boy at heart.
09:51And I love that guy to death.
09:54And I think he's, like, the funniest guy ever.
09:56How about Vince?
09:58Calculated.
09:58He's, you know, he's playing slow.
10:00He is playing calculated.
10:03I think he knows when to make moves and when not to make moves.
10:05I think he knows who he can trust and who he can't trust.
10:07Will.
10:08Will, he's, I think he's a little bit easily convincible.
10:14Like, he was jumping back and forth.
10:15Even though he had an alliance, he was jumping back and forth just because he didn't want to be on the wrong side of the boat.
10:18I think it could come back to bite him.
10:20But at the same time, he could be used as a number until, you know, towards the end.
10:22But he's a great guy.
10:24He, you know, he loves his family a lot.
10:26And he's, like, the most awesome dude.
10:28Last, but certainly not least, Zach.
10:31Zach, he's my boy.
10:33You know, he's super handsome jacked.
10:35He's smart.
10:37He is, he's fun.
10:39Like, he's just my type of vibe.
10:41Like, he, you know, he's, like, was probably my closest friend in the house, even though I love everybody in there.
10:46But, you know, I think very highly of Zach in every way.
10:50And so I hope he does really well in this.
10:52And hopefully that, you know, if he's on the block, they don't just look at us with a target and throw him out.
10:55Well, Zach, thank you so much for taking the time to chat with me.
10:58And, you know, everything you brought to the door, the Big Brother House, as the door-to-door salesman, you know, for your accountability, your candor, your willingness to start up drama.
11:06Obviously, this is not the most ideal outcome.
11:08But it seems like you made the most of your week and a half in the house.
11:12And we're very grateful for that and taking the chance to talk with me today.
11:15Thank you so much, Mike.
11:15I appreciate it.
11:16Of course.
11:17All the best to you and yours.
11:18And have a good one.
11:19Thanks so much again, Zach.
11:19Have a good one.
11:20Bye-bye.
11:20Bye-bye.
11:20Bye-bye.
