00:00To start, tell us a little bit about yourself.

00:06Give us your name, where you're from, and what you do.

00:09I'm Kelly, I'm from South Dakota, and I'm a web designer.

00:14What's your reaction to getting to play Big Brother?

00:18Being a house guest on Big Brother feels great.

00:21I'm so excited to make all these people my friends.

00:25Why will you win Big Brother?

00:27Listen, I'm going to be the one to win Big Brother because I'm a farm kid, and I have farm kid grit.

00:34Back on the farm, there's no such thing as I'm tired of this task and I'm done with it,

00:38or this task is too hard and I'm done and I'm just going to go inside.

00:42No, we finish the task. Whatever needs to be done, we do it.

00:46And that's what I'm going to do in this house. I'm going to be a farm kid.

00:50Tell us a little bit about your life in the outside world, and how that has prepared you for Big Brother.

00:55A little about Kelly. So, I am a solo traveler.

01:01I've been to 42 countries, all 50 U.S. states, and literally half of Mexico.

01:06I've stayed in hostels. I'm good with communal living and sharing a kitchen and sharing a bathroom with 16 people.

01:13This is like second nature to me. This is going to be great.

01:15I also grew up in a super small town, like 50 people small.

01:20And it was, my graduating class was 64, and it was us from kindergarten to senior year graduation.

01:29The same people, the same building, all 13 years.

01:33So, I'm used to being locked in a room. Like, this would be perfect for me.

01:39What are your biggest strengths?

01:42My strengths are definitely my social skills and my ability to read people.

01:47What are your biggest weaknesses?

01:50My weakness is definitely going to be competitions.

01:54I'm, one, not super competitive.

01:56Not that that's going to stop me from winning, of course.

01:59But not super competitive in, like, I need to win this thing.

02:03Um, I'm also very clumsy, so I have a feeling competitions are not going to be my strong suit.

02:09Do you plan on keeping any secrets about yourself from the other houseguests?

02:15I would love to not reveal my profession.

02:18And, like, I have a couple really successful businesses that I run.

02:23Um, and I would love for my houseguests to not know that.

02:26So, I'll try to downplay it as much as I can.

02:28Also, the fact that I've traveled so extensively.

02:30How will I crush my enemies?

02:34Um, I'm definitely going to kill them with kindness.

02:39What are you bringing to the show that nobody has seen before?

02:44I'm going to bring to the show this weird, quirky energy.

02:48I'm going to be everyone's hype woman.

02:50I'm here to hype up all my houseguests.

02:53And I'm going to be everyone's friend.

02:55What's your strategy going into the game?

02:57So, when I am traveling, I like to say the best way to go is with no plan at all.

03:05And that's sort of how I'm entering the Big Brother house.

03:08You know, I've only seen the one or two seasons.

03:11And I think having a fresh perspective is going to help a lot.

03:15My strategy is to lay low for the first few weeks.

03:19And hopefully make it till jury.

03:21And hopefully make it all the way.

03:23If I can rely on the social aspect and the friends that I make, they're going to have

03:28a really hard time voting me off.

03:30I just know it.

03:31Why will you be the player to watch this season?

03:37I'm the one to watch this summer because I'm quirky.

03:40I'm fun.

03:41I'm going to bring the fun dances and the fun songs to the house.

03:44I'm going to make everybody do little dance parties, even if they don't want to.

03:48So, this year being the 25th anniversary of Big Brother, you can tell that it's a long

04:00running show because of the drama and the social aspect.

04:04And that's what I'm here for, too.

04:06I'm so excited to see how me and my fellow housemates get along, just like watching the

04:11show.

04:13Would you be open for a showmance?

04:15I am in a very happy relationship with my boyfriend of eight months now, and I do not

04:23see myself getting into a showmance.

04:25Even if I didn't have a boyfriend, I wouldn't worry myself with a showmance.

04:30Will you be more of a hero or a villain in the house?

04:34Oh, if I'm a villain on this show, you know something has gone very wrong.

04:38I am definitely not a villain.

04:40I don't know that I'll necessarily be a hero, but, you know, like I said, if a villain comes

04:47to mind for Kelly, something has gone very wrong.

04:52What will be your secret weapon in the house?

04:56My secret weapon is my spontaneity and my bravery.

05:01You know, I'm on this crazy show with all these crazy new house guests, and I'm embracing the

05:08challenge.

05:09And that's my superpower, is I embrace and I adapt.
