The makeup process takes over an hour as it's a crucial part of the look - she’s been perfecting it for 10 years. Michaela says that being Sprout allows her to "act silly and goofy" without judgement. 00:02Over the years, I just kind of gradually became more and more obsessed with the woodland

00:10So this is kind of like my ideal woodland fairy look.

00:14I definitely wouldn't wear it on a normal occasion, but this is like my peak aesthetic

00:20I know my style is really unique, but today I'm going to be transforming into an everyday

00:25glam girl.

00:26I have mixed feelings about the crop top.

00:40My entire makeup process takes about an hour and a half.

00:45When I was first trying my makeup out, it took about two hours.

00:49I've got a routine down, I'd say, for sure.

01:03I've been dressing up, I would say, as like a woodland fairy or an elf for probably about

01:17Being a fairy to me means bringing joy to everyone else around me, especially children, and being

01:24able to play pretend and just kind of escape from reality, I guess.

01:28I would say the makeup for this look is very important, mostly just because it stands out

01:34and most people don't do full body makeup like this.

01:38And I think it makes me really unique as a professional fairy.

01:42So this is my air compressor that I use to put on the base colors of my makeup.

01:46And then I use this airbrush gun and I pour some makeup in it.

01:49Pour it in like that.

01:51And then I'll spray it and it'll spray on my face like that.

01:57Dressing up like this kind of makes me feel like I'm wearing a mask.

02:00Even though I'm not physically wearing a mask, but I feel like I can act more silly around

02:05people.

02:06If I were to look normal and go out in public and act like Sprout, I'd feel really self-conscious

02:11about it.

02:12But when I'm dressed as Sprout, I feel like I can actually act and be silly and goofy and

02:16people will accept it.

02:17So this is kind of like my ideal woodland fairy look.

02:32I'd say this section is for more like costumey garb pieces.

02:38And then down here is for my more socially acceptable pieces.

02:43I very rarely wear jeans, only if I'm going to like a nice family Christmas event or something

02:50They're usually in my colors like red or brown or green.

02:53I've gotten comments on the internet saying things like, oh, look, another fatherless daughter

03:00or just saying things like, that's so weird.
