CHLOE from Yorkshire is inspired by gyaru - a Japanese fashion subculture. The subculture is recognised by its many layers of tan and eyeliner. The 22-year-old says that gyaru means a lot to her as it helped to change the perception of herself from something very negative into something a lot more positive. It takes Chloe a whopping two hours to get ready every day as she says: "Makeup is everything in gyaru, without the makeup there is no gyaru." Today, she will be transformed into an everyday casual aesthetic, how will she react to herself? Will her mum prefer the new look?
