During a White House press briefing on Monday, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was asked about President Trump's vision for Gaza following the conclusion of the Israel-Hamas war.

00:05Gaza you mentioned you know talking about now the ceasefire but does he
00:09does he support permanent or temporary present really presence in in the Gaza
00:13Strip does he continue to see a continued role for the Gaza Humanitarian
00:18Foundation to continue to operate in the Gaza Strip well as you know because we've
00:23talked about it before the president has directed aid to be moved into the region
00:28and that has been taking place you've actually seen people in the Gaza Strip
00:32yelling out thank you Trump for the aid and for the meals that they have
00:36received because the previous administration never did that for some
00:40reason but this this president again wants to see peace and stability in the
00:44region so as I outlined previously he views this part of the region as as
00:48having a real chance of being peaceful and prosperous but again we need to end
00:52this war we need to get all the hostages home and Hamas needs to accept this
00:56proposal in order to do that Dr. Harbaugh
