00:00We expect our Honorable Prime Minister Nagaj Rabodiji to attend this summit.
00:06Join us also. I had the opportunity to participate in his team.
00:11BRICS is really a meeting ground for business, trade and to develop all the emerging economies that are part of BRICS.
00:19And that's my hope as well. Start-ups are a core fundamental program to the Prime Minister's vision for India.
00:26And that's what I'm trying to popularize over here so that we get investments and the stage for Indian start-ups.
00:33This platform will give us a playing ground.
00:36You will give us a play ground for starting to start.
00:40How do you want to integrate in the future?
00:44So, I'm talking from Brazil, Rio de Janeiro.
00:49From the venue of the summit, the 17th summit.
00:53I had the occasion of participating in Johannesburg also.
00:57So, we are here for the last couple of days.
01:01Yesterday, we had the FIKI chamber and our chamber both participated in the business discussions.
01:11We have seen areas where Brazil has the strength, India has the strength as well as weakness.
01:18We can have a short analysis on either side.
01:21Definitely, India has opportunities.
01:24This is a high risk, highly profitable environment because the inflation varies very much.
01:31The vulnerability is very high.
01:33But the potential is very high.
01:35The natural resources are very high.
01:38Then, the country is so vast with a lot of potential.
01:42So, there are opportunities.
01:44And also, they learn many things here.
01:47The Embraer is supported here.
01:49India wanted to be the capital of chip manufacturing, etc., etc.
01:58So, in many areas, on a short analysis, we understand there are potential for cooperation.
02:07And the Indian industries can definitely get this cooperation converted into great opportunities.
02:16So, for Brazil also, particularly in ideas like financial services, how the monetary system is governed by the Reserve Bank of India.
02:29And how that can be definitely a learning for the world.
02:34And Brazil in financial services can definitely take an opportunity to have the partnership learning, etc., from Indian Forum.
02:44So, this is an opportunity for dialogue.
02:47This is an opportunity to understand each other.
02:49Definitely, this will bring a lot of value on either side.
02:53So, Prime Minister Narendra Modi have to attend the BRICS 2025.
02:57Yeah.
02:58What's your comment on that?
02:59We expect our Honorable Prime Minister Nagarjara Modiji to attend the summit.
03:05Johan Nasberg also had the opportunity to participate in his team when he addressed the BRICS summit there.
03:14Here, he has the clout.
03:17With his clout and Indian delegation also is here.
03:22I can see, I can definitely tell you, it is very well charged to understand each other and definitely explore opportunities.
03:30The Prime Minister's presence here will definitely motivate the teams on either side.
03:36And it will lend a lot of confidence.
03:39We are expecting a good outcome out of that.
03:44I am the founder and managing partner of Rukum Capital.
03:47We are an early stage VC fund out of India and I am part of the BRICS delegation.
03:51I am also a member of the National Startup Advisory Council, which is headed by the Union Common Minister Shri Piyush Goyal.
03:59And what are your expectations from India, Pakistan?
04:04BRICS is really a meeting ground for business, trade and to develop all the emerging economies that are part of BRICS.
04:12And that's my hope as well.
04:14Startups are a core fundamental program to the Prime Minister's vision for India.
04:19And that's what I am trying to popularize over here so that we get investments and the stage for Indian startups.
04:26Yes.
04:27So, you know, one of the reasons we are here is, you know, Brazil has a big market of dyes and specialty chemicals.
04:33And that is just one of the small parts of it.
04:35Brazil has been growing pretty good in terms of, you know, energy and other sources as well.
04:39So, one of the reasons we are over here is, you know, to see what Brazil is about.
04:43You know, co-invest in companies over here.
04:45And then, you know, this has been a really good event for India and Brazil all together.
04:50Yes, he has been promoting our nation.
04:59You know, he has been leading us in a new direction, helping investors in all ways possible.
05:06And we are really commendable for that.
05:08And much thanks to Mr. Prime Minister Rarindramudi.
05:10I don't think, you know, we would have proceed, we would have gone forward as a country,
05:15investing in other countries without his help in his direction altogether.
05:19All together.
05:20Yes.
05:21Seventeen.
05:22We are actually here.
05:23My name is Rakesh Bhalla.
05:26I am here in Fikki delegation.
05:28And if we talk about the risk miss, because the Prime Minister Modi is here,
05:33the other countries, the other countries, China, Russia, South Africa and other countries
05:39are here.
05:40So, this is the platform.
05:42This platform will give you a play ground.
05:46You will give you a play ground.
05:49You will give you a play ground.
05:50You will have to do the integration of the future.
05:53Now, this is the world situation.
05:55Eleven of China, the next horizontal barrier.
05:59This could be coming from India in a moment.
06:02They are concerned with his whole population and India.
06:04It could become a day when March.
06:06They are written by the huge disco record.
06:08When I was 들어 to Japan,
06:09now, there's a better place.
06:11Now, an investment in the world for India.
06:13So, you can't even pin all not commerce in China.
06:16You are more tunes to Japan.
06:17Oh, my goodness.
06:19You will be there.
06:20So, yes.
06:22For a remarkable fiction.
06:23Maazda,
06:24sml lisao, you can listen to this, because here is commercial vehicle, it is not a sport.
06:32The first reason was that we have basically bs6, here is euro 6, which is slightly equivalent to bs6,
06:44now we are working on automobile, that in euro 6, in countries, commercial vehicle,
06:51cars are already going on, scooters are already going on, and now in euro 6, we have diesel vehicle,
06:59India has already said that electrical vehicle is almost 30% of our population,
07:09and all companies in India including smlsu, electrical vehicle are already going on,
07:15so electrical vehicle, sport has a lot of chance, that in other industries, we can talk about energy,
07:23but we have some challenges, one is tariff, tariff will be a big challenge,
07:31that Brazil and India will already treatise sign, which both have win-win situation and tariff
07:37come on. We have been involved with Brazil in the last 2-3 years, and we have been continuously
07:44coming here for collaboration. I think Brazil in particular out of BRICS provides a very
07:52diverse business opportunities, not only for us but also from businessmen from India, specifically in agribusiness.
08:00I think Brazil, in particular, out of BRICS, provides a very diverse business opportunities, not only for us, but also from businessmen from India, specifically in agribusiness.
08:14And what we believe is that the technology that Brazilians have developed in terms of animal husbandry, in terms of breed multiplication, can be replicated in India to improve the outcome, which I think is one of the major objectives of our PM as well.
08:33Along with increasing the agribusiness category, which basically because of the fact that we both, Brazil as well as India, want to become food basket of the world.
08:47What we believe is that because of the fact that we have a huge output, as well as because of the land that Brazil has, there is a huge possibility of transactional business, as well as collaborative business where we can grow crops, which we are not very good at.
09:10And basically in terms, which I particularly call about pulses and soybean crops.
09:16And basically what we understand is because of the fact that they have been working on genomics for a very, very long time, genomics, genetics, and they are producing, say, for example, soybean, like 2.5 times what we produce in our per hectare production.
09:35So what we believe is that there has to be more, you know, deeper interaction, deeper collaboration with Embrapa, with ICAR and the industry as well as we are trying to.
09:48And I think we will be able to create business opportunities.
09:52And last but not least, we know that there are very few food processing companies from Brazil who have actually invested into India.
10:02So we plan to bring those industries into India.
10:05And we believe that the Prime Minister's initiative by coming here and taking bricks back to India, we would be able to take the initiative and we would be able to work together.
10:15First of all, I will thank FIKI for organizing such a beautiful event.
10:22Of course, there is a lot, lot to do and collaborate here.
10:27For the discussions which we had among ourselves with people around here, with the chamber here, I think there is huge potential which lies in terms of IT, ICT kind of services where the two countries can collaborate.
10:50I find a lot of potential for e-education, e-health kind of things here.
10:57I'm absolutely grateful for the kind of discussions which we had here.
11:02People are open and looking forward for much, much more deeper engagement onto the things.
11:11I'm absolutely honored to be here and participate in such a brilliant event.
11:18And of course, for another one day, two days more, we look forward to much more engagement here.
11:24Also, Modi, Prime Minister Modi is coming to attend.
11:27He brings what do you have to do?
11:29I mean, I'm sure, I mean, wherever he goes, he carries a lot of things along with him.
11:36And I'm sure it will deeper the engagement further.
11:39I'm sure the collaboration will grow deeper.
11:41The business where it stands today will surely going to improve far, far and achieve newer heights.
