00:00Prime Minister Datuk Sri Anwar Ibrahim on Saturday arrived in Brazil from Peru for the

00:11final leg of his working visit from November 9th to 20th.

00:17Anwar is in Brazil to attend the G20 summit at the invitation of Brazilian President Luiz

00:23Inacio Lula da Silva.

00:25Malaysia is among 17 countries invited as guest nations for the summit to be held from

00:31November 18th to 19th.

00:33Anwar is accompanied by Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hassan and Investment, Trade

00:39and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz.

00:44Anwar said during the summit he will present Malaysia's views on initiatives to address

00:50issues of poverty, inequality and global governance reform.

00:55He said Malaysia will also express its desire to advance economic cooperation, promote welfare

01:01and inclusive development.

01:03He will hold bilateral talks with Lula da Silva and several other world leaders.

01:09The Malaysian delegation will also meet the business community in Brazil.

01:16Many of the world leaders who had completed their attendance at the APEC events in Peru

01:20on Saturday are expected to arrive in Brazil for the G20 summit.
