00:09On his final leg of his official visit and working trip to three cities,

00:13Anwar was in Paris and Rome for four days before arriving in Rio at 5.41 a.m.

00:20Anwar is in Brazil at the invitation of President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva.

00:26Malaysia's participation in the 17th BRICS Leaders Summit

00:30is in its capacity as BRICS Partner Country and ASEAN Chair 2025.

00:35Malaysia will seek to promote stronger engagement between ASEAN and BRICS

00:40with the aim of advancing regional cooperation, deepening economic partnerships

00:45and contributing to collective efforts toward a more equitable and sustainable global economy.

00:50During his three-day stay, Anwar is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings

00:55with his counterparts from BRICS member and partner countries.

00:58He is also expected to engage with Brazilian and Malaysian companies.

01:02The BRICS Group, which serves as a political and diplomatic coordination forum

01:07for countries of the Global South and collaboration across diverse sectors,
