01:32The official mascot for the event was also introduced, named TIPI, short for Techno Pinoy.
01:45It symbolizes the Philippines' determination to keep pace with the rapidly advancing global technology.
01:52TIPI wears the colors of the Philippine flag, blue representing aspiration and peace.
01:59Red, symbolizing patriotism and courage.
02:03White, which stands for freedom and equality.
02:07And a glowing yellow sun in the center of its chest,
02:11representing a strong spirit rooted in unity and democracy.
02:16The official mascot is the Techno Pinoy, not the TIPI.
02:20Because I think the theme of WorldSkills ASEAN 2025 is skilled for the future.
02:29And we are looking at a lot of innovations and technological advances for new sets of skill sectors
02:39that have been included as part of WorldSkills globally, and now will be part of WorldSkills ASEAN.

03:02are expected to participate.
03:04Through a video message, several officials from ASEAN countries expressed their support.
03:09The Filipino workforce is highly skilled, highly in demand globally,
03:15and it's about time for us to show, through hosting in this event,
03:21exactly how we compare to our ASEAN neighbors.
