00:06pinagahandaan na para sa paparating na World Skills ASEAN-Manila 2025 ngayong Agosto.

00:13Para kamustahin ang kanilang preparasyon sa kompetisyong ito,

00:17makakapanayam natin ngayong umaga si Undersecretary Nelly Dilliera,

00:22ang Deputy Director General for TVET Partnership and Community Based TVET-TESDA

00:29at makasama din natin ang ilang representative ng ating bansa,

00:34na sila Ague Locaizo, Gibran Sudango, Davidson De Vera, Hanna Caintic, at Elijah Gaspar.

00:43Good morning and welcome po sa Rise and Share Pilipinas.

00:48Yes, morning! Good morning po.

00:50Ito po, para po mas maunawaan pa ng ating mga ka-RSP na nanonood po,

00:57pwede niyo po bang ibahagi sa amin ano ang layunin ng World Skills ASEAN-Manila 2025?

01:02Okay, unang-una siguro, ano, pag sinabi nating Olympics, mas madaling matandaan.

01:08Kasi pag Olympic sports, ito parang Olympics rin siya, pero this time sa skills.

01:13So it's a skills competition.

01:16Makakalahok po dito ang iba't iba pong mga competitors na nagmumula po sa ASEAN.

01:20So when we say ASEAN, ito yung sampung countries na bumubuo ng Association of Southeast Asian Nations,

01:26kasama nang natin ngayon ang Timor-Leste.

01:29Ang gusto talaga natin gawin dito, ipakita yung kakayahan at importansya ng technical and vocational education and training.

01:38Kasi dito, in six months or even two years lang, makakakuha ka na ng diploma,

01:43and at the same time, makakapagtrabaho ka na dahil practical yung mga tinuturo dito.

01:47And dito nga sa ASEAN World skills na gagawin natin,

01:51ine-emphasize rin nito ang importance ng contribution ng ating mga kabataang tulad nila,

01:56very youthful pa, no, contribution sa economy.

01:59And of course, pride sila ng country dahil ine-expect natin siguro mga 200 to 300 competitors

02:05from all throughout ASEAN countries ang pupunta dito sa Pilipinas para mga makilahok dito sa competition na ito.

02:12And of course, we're also giving opportunity sa ating mga youth na magkaroon talaga ng trabaho eventually.

02:18Ito po ba yung first time na ang Pilipinas po yung mag-host po na ito?

02:22The last time was in 1994. So kung 1994 ano siya, 30 years ago.

02:28So bago lang siya sinumulan that time at isa sa isa ang Pilipinas na nag-host nito,

02:32no, nung mga nakaraang ilan ba, 30 years.

02:34So we're really very happy. Siyempre, nabibigyan ng opportunity ang Pilipinas na ma-spotlight ulit, di ba?

02:40Kasi if we're hosting this, lahat ng mga competing countries, sorry, competing countries,

02:48ang eyes nila are actually focused on the Philippines right now.

02:52So we're really very happy to host this particular event.

02:55E nga, sabi niyo ma'am, para itong Olympics.

02:58So ngayon, ito yung, tayo yung may home court advantage.

03:01So yung mga representatives natin, kamusta yung preparation na ginagawa ninyo para nga dito sa paparating na competition?

03:11Ang preparation naman po natin is patuloy pa rin po, tuloy-tuloy pa rin at the moment.

03:16And also we have ang nangyayari ng mga competitions.

03:19So our other kasama naming competitors is meron po kaming mga kasama pa rin to ilabas kung ano ba yung full potential talaga ng bawat isa.

03:28So ayun, sa ngayon po, is patuloy pa rin po yung training na nangyayari.

03:34Yung ba po pang representative?

03:36So bali sa ngayon po, tulad po nang sabi niya, ay every week or sa bawat oras na parang kaya namin, ay nagpa-practice po kami.

03:43Para po may home po yung aming skills at may, para may reach namin yung standards na hinihingi po ng world skills.

03:50So bali yun po, continuous training until ma-reach po talaga namin yung full potential namin.

03:56Every day po, lagi kami merong what we call the competitor mindset.

04:01And we make sure na may presence in mind kami while doing our mock competitions.

04:06For me personally po, hindi lang kami mock competition.

04:09We have something just mock training, kumbaga, where we follow a similar schedule to the actual competition.

04:16Ano-anong skills po ba yung itatampok po rito ng mga kalahok na lalaban?

04:24Okay, meron tayong six areas.

04:26Sa six areas na yun, may kasama pa siyang, kumbaga, ang total is 32.

04:30If I just mentioned, I need to mention ICT.

04:34So si Hanna is actually competing in that category.

04:37I think meron pang apat.

04:39Ano sa creative pala?

04:40Okay, construction, creative arts and fashion, manufacturing and engineering technology,

04:45social and personal services, pati transportation and logistics.

04:49So under this, ito yung mga technical and vocational nga na sinasabi natin

04:54na practical learning talaga yung tinuturo sa ating mga kabataan.

04:58Na ready na sila to participate in those particular sectors and industries.

05:04Ito po, bukod po sa TESTA, ano-ano pa yung mga partner agency?

05:08Ang party nga po dito sa paparating na WorldSkills ASEAN Manila 2025.

05:15Okay, nagpapasalamat tayo dahil may inilabas na order ang Malacanang

05:20para nga encourage yung iba't-ibang government agencies to support and participate dito.

05:26Pwede manood, ma'am.

05:27Ah, syempre.

05:28Pwede po, pwede po kayo manood.

05:30Meron po kami, I hope, makapapakita po natin yung QR code where you can register.

05:34But anyway, if not, pumunta lang po kayo sa World Trade Center, gagawin po ito on August 26 to 28.

05:42Meron po tayong mag-guide.

05:44Ano, ang maganda doon?

05:45Kasi minsan pag tinitingnan lang natin yung mga nagko-contest sa, alibaba, gumagamit na mga technology,

05:50parang minsan ang hirap intindihin.

05:52But, pag may mag-guide, na-trained rin sila ng Department of Tourism, isa sa mga partners natin,

05:59maiintindihan pa nilang lalo kung ano yung mga nangyayari.

06:01Ito po, sa ating mga representatives, bilang kayo nga yung kakatawan sa ating bansa,

06:07pwede nyo bang i-share sa amin yung kagandahan ng journey nyo rito?

06:12At sya, ano yung mga ipagmalaki na rin yung sang category or skills namin kayo haabangan?

06:17Okay, so for me po, I am Hannah Crystal Ikaintik from Graphic Design Technology po.

06:25And for me, ang kagandahan ng journey namin is really, it's a lot easier for us to train

06:31because we have the support that we need.

06:33We have the tools and it's a lot harder to get those tools when you're alone, syempre po.

06:40So, we are provided with the computers, with food, the schedules, and yun nga po, training, with good experts.

06:51So, Bale, the one thing na talagang maganda po dito is yung experience and yung exposure.

06:58So, Bale, mostly since we parang kasama po kami sa kabataan, parang this is mostly first time.

07:05Parang first time po namin na makilahok sa mga ganitong competition na sa ganitong lawak.

07:11So, parang nakaka-excite po siya, pero at the same time nakakaba.

07:14Pero yun nga, nandun na rin yung part na ready-ready ka para makilahok at makisabak po para i-represent yung bansang ito.

07:23So, tulad po nang sabi ni Hannah, provided po lahat.

07:28Kasi po, with the continuous support ng ating mga sponsors and of course yung ating mga officials from WorldSkills and DESDA.

07:36And once again, hello, my name is Ajito Kaiso and I'm from the region of CAR.

07:43So, nasa skill area po ako ng cooking.

07:46And ayan, nasabi po nila lahat ng, dito sa training po na to is lahat na provided po from the ingredients, the tools, the materials.

07:54So, wala ka pong kailangan isipin, wala ka pong kailangan problemahin.

07:58Ang gawin mo na lang is ibigay kung ano yung kailangan mong ibigay dito.

08:01And also, can we take this opportunity po to magpasalamat?

08:06Dito sa supporting, bumubuo din dito sa skills na nangyayari.

09:28Suportahan po natin kung paano po natin sinusuportahan rin yung iba nating competitors sa international competitions.

09:34Okay, nagkaroon po tayo ng intensive training.

09:37Pasalamatan rin natin, siyempre, yung mga sponsors natin, mga partners natin, nagsuporta dito sa atin.

09:42And of course, si DG Kiko and lahat ng competitors that are really preparing for this competition.
