Two people died in wildfire sweeping Turkey's western Izmir province on Tuesday, as blazes raged for a seventh day across several regions.

The latest casualties were a backhoe operator and an 81-year-old bedridden man, both of whom died in Izmir’s Odemis district as wildfires swept through the area.
