00:05your mind and body, bee breath, also known as brahmari pranayama. What is bee breath?
00:11Brahmari comes from the Sanskrit word for, bee. During this pranayama, we create a humming sound
00:16like a bee, which has a soothing effect on the brain. It's known to reduce stress, anxiety,
00:22anger, and even improve concentration and sleep quality. How to do bee breath? Let's do it
00:27together. Find a comfortable seated position, cross-legged on the floor or seated on a chair
00:33with a straight back, close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, place your index fingers on your
00:38ears, right at the cartilage between your cheek and ear. Inhale deeply through your nose, as you exhale,
00:45gently press the cartilage while making a humming sound like a bee, mm. Feel the vibration in your
00:50head and chest, repeat this five to seven times, or as long as you feel comfortable, tips and
00:56precautions, practice bee breath in a quiet place. Avoid doing it if you have a severe ear infection.
01:03Always breathe through your nose and keep your mouth closed. If you feel dizzy or uncomfortable,
01:09stop and resume normal breathing. Brahmari pranayama is a wonderful daily practice to stay calm,
01:14focused, and balanced. Add it to your routine and feel the difference.
