President Dina Boluarte has approved a 100% salary increase, raising her monthly pay to approximately $10,000 USD, according to a government decree issued on July 2, 2025. teleSUR

00:24amount that Boluarte will receive as of this week,

00:27and after leaving the government, she will receive that sum as pension.

00:30Economist Jorge González Izquierdo said that if the presidential salary were paid by results,
