Highlight Intersecting Cell
1) Ctrl + A
2) Home -- Style -- Conditional Formatting
3) New Rule
4) Select "Use a formula to determine which cells to format".
5) =AND(COLUMN()=CELL("COL"), ROW()=CELL("ROW"))
6) Format
7) Fill tab.
8) Select red colour.
9) OK
10) OK

00:10one of my subscribers had asked me how do I highlight the intersecting cell with a different
00:15color other than the column and the row color like this. Let me show you how this is done with
00:21these few easy steps. First press ctrl a to highlight the whole data set and after that
00:26now go home style conditional formatting new rule. In here select use formula and use this formula.
00:35Once that's done, click on format, make sure you're on the fill tab, select the color that you want,
00:40click ok, ok and now every time you select a different cell, the intersecting cell of the
00:45crosshair is of a different color than the crosshair of the row and column.
