00:00every year is a new year even if the moves feel small you're not necessarily quote running it

01:14never know but now you don't have Kevon Looney and you know he's not the most important guy he's one
01:20of your top eight or nine and the rest of your core is a year older and it's an older core so you're
01:27asking those guys to come back and be as healthy and as good as they were for you when Jimmy came
01:34Steph was almost all health and Draymond was healthy and Jimmy and all the rest of it and so
01:39it becomes tough to think about running it back and being able to duplicate what you did especially
01:45when you won't have Kevon and it looks like you might not have Gary Payton the second we don't know
01:50for sure yet so your depth looks like it's not going to be as good as it was and your older guys are
01:55all year older yeah so it's harder to think about running it back and getting the same result
02:00what is the other option well there isn't one okay and I've been saying this all along yeah then
02:06well the other option is get something for Kaminga well get somebody in here in the mid-level
02:11that's what they're trying to do and hope to hell that your two second rounders that one of them can
02:16actually be you know pods ish or TJD ish like how would you feel how would you feel if and and by the

02:36and spit out all of that but what if the Warriors found a taker for Kaminga and and took a player back

02:49a non-tax-paying mid-level team and then you've got that 14.1 which I believe can you split it
02:55can you split that between two players you're 14 if you have that mid-level exception does it have
03:01to be one player can you split that stuff you don't have to use it all in one all right so like what
03:05if in some sort of a way you were able to trade Kaminga bring back a productive player and then use
03:12the mid-level money that you have to sort of do something that felt like Al Horford and D'Anthony

03:47making the number one amount of money per year next year Jimmy Butler is tied for fifth so two of the
03:55top five in the association are on your team and Draymond makes 28 so I'm not under any false
04:01pretense that you can do anything else other than this so when I look at what you might be able to do
04:07if it's kavon kaminga and gp2 out and it's I don't know let's just say kobe white because I'm
04:14kind of fascinated by that idea he's making 12 million he's a nice little guard you're aiming

04:25and it's a 39 year old al horford are you better than with kaminga peyton and looney I say yes I

06:11Bay Bay Aquarium it's super fun and so fun beaches there or you know kid friendly and the whole thing
06:17you get a couple of nice restaurants down there in Carmel I get mad at people sometimes with where
06:21they go in the summer and how often they go I'm like you live here we live in California where you
06:27going this is everybody's coming here for vacation why are you all going somewhere here's good that's
06:33what I mean I just try to tell my kids that as a guy who's on his way to uh the Caribbean well you

07:06get a drink with anyone and use that joke yeah god I have as many kids as you 56 and haven't you
07:13learned anything yet I mean I'm trying to I'm trying to be the station leader in offspring

07:52getting hurt and a big man why is everybody up in arms like oh yeah because everybody making trades
07:58and getting players we need to just all of a sudden go find some some diamond in the rough we
08:03got guys post he looked like he got great potential he can shoot the three only thing he got to develop
08:09is somewhat of an inside game he's down there seven foot tall we got guys that's already on the team
08:15Kaminga is actually on the Warriors let's try to find some way to pay Kaminga let's try to find some
08:21way Steve Kurtz to develop post and get uh uh I forgot his name because I'm talking so much
08:28our point guard uh what's his name you're talking about Pajemski Pajemski to be more Pajems need to
08:36be a little bit more consistent especially we're going to be in the playoffs he need to be ready to
08:41go to deep waters and not be having these three and four games where he's scoring three and five
08:46points and step his game up post get better in the off season hopefully Steph Curry come back
08:51a little more healthy and not run him into the ground Steve Kerr and we'll be all right next
08:57season hopefully we can post can play like a post clear and we'd be good flea thank you very much
09:02it's it's it's a good call it's an optimistic call but I think that this is just this is the byproduct
09:09of you're coming out of a dynasty and when you lose the last four games of your season and you bow
09:15out in the second round um you're going to have a fan base that screams and yells that like oh my
09:21god wholesale changes are necessary and a they're not possible and b I think everybody's forgetting
09:28how good the Warriors were down the stretch and and the idea that Steph was overworked in theory
09:34in theory should be mitigated by the fact that Butler's now here for the whole year
09:39like they had to go into playoff mode in February March and April yep and and now in theory maybe they
09:46won't have to do that who'd rather be right now in this moment the Warriors or the Celtics because
09:52the Celtics are making a clear-cut signal that not that they're going to tank but they are shedding
09:58and shoring up and hoping that after one year maybe they get a lucky draft pick and maybe they
10:04clear some space and they can try again in a year because they got rid of two of their top four players
10:10and they're in shed mode and so who would you rather be right now well the Celtics are not going to the
10:15playoffs next year right in the east well and they're hoping for a really really good draft pick
10:20it's going to be you know Jalen Brown and Jalen Brown right playing one on five yeah that's it
10:27and Derek White yep Jalen Brown and Derek White that's the whole team
