00:35ang UAAP Women's Volleyball Player of the Year

00:39matapos muling pangunahan ang Lady Bulldogs

00:43sa panibagong kampiyonato noong season 87.

00:46I'm very happy kasi na-recognize yung talent ko.

00:49Kasi naman po yung nag-vote sa akin,

00:50thank you so much and hindi porket

00:54tapos na ako sa collegiate level.

00:57Kumbaga, because of this award,

01:00mas magpupusigip ako sa pro to level up my game.

01:03Sa NCAA naman, namayani si Clint Escamis

01:08na pinamunuan ang Mapuak Cardinals

01:10sa kanilang unang kampiyonato sa loob ng mahigit tatlong dekada.

01:15Dahil dito, siya ang kinilala bilang Men's Basketball Player of the Year.

01:20I'm sobrang honored ako, sobrang blessed ako to be part of,

01:24sabi nga nila, like Creme de la Creme, one of the best in college.

01:29Nakakambo lang yung mga gatong moments.

01:31This one makes you motivate na to strive for more.

01:37Kasaysayan din ang naitala ngayong taon matapos unang beses

01:41na kilalanin ng CPC ang sport ng football.

01:45Ayon sa pangulo ng organisasyon na si John Brian Ulanday,

01:50simula pa lamang yan ng patuloy na paglawig ng naturang awards night.

01:55We make it a habit na every year, we add one more sport.

02:00Of course, kahit gano'n namin kagusto,

02:04hindi naman namin magagawa based on our capacity na lahat ay awardan.

02:09Napakaraming sports, napakaraming discipline sa collegiate.

02:12Unlike in the pro leagues na kung basketball, basketball lang,

02:16kung volleyball, volleyball lang,

02:17sa collegiate, as in, ang daming discipline.

02:21So, one at a time, we started with basketball.

02:25Last year, we introduced volleyball.

02:27This year, we made history with football.

02:30Sa ikatlong taon nito, patuloy na lumalawak ang saklaw at katanyagan ng CPC Awards

02:38sa pagbibigay-pugay sa mga natatanging atletang Pilipino sa kolehyo.
