00:00The price of onions is going down in the market.

00:03From P240 per kilo, the price of onions has gone down by P200 since February 15.

00:10According to the Agriculture Department, the price of onions will continue to go down until the end of February.

00:17This will help in controlling the price of imported onions.

00:23Almost 100 tons of red and white onions have clearance for importation.

00:29From more than P3,000 metric tons of expected volume of onions.

00:35For now, it is expected that the price of onions will go down when it enters the market.

00:40The DA also ensured that the price of local onions will not be affected by imported onions.

00:48This will help in controlling the price of imported onions.

00:52But at the same time, it will not affect or dampen the price of locally produced onions.
