What is the Qur’an?

The Qur’an is the final holy book of Allah, revealed to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in the Arabic language.

✅ Meaning:
“Qur’an” means “recitation” or “reading aloud.”

✅ Revelation period:
Over 23 years (610 CE to 632 CE).

✅ How was it revealed?
Through Angel Jibreel (Gabriel) in parts, depending on situations and guidance needed.

✅ Structure:

114 Surahs (Chapters)

Over 6,000 Ayahs (Verses)

Divided into 30 Juz (Parts)

✅ Main themes:

Oneness of Allah (Tawheed)

Prophethood

Hereafter (Akhirah)

Guidance for life (Shariah, morals, worship)

Stories of past nations and Prophets
