00:00This kid, Hanson, that I was talking about, and I know that's crazy that his name's Hanson, the Chinese kid.
00:06He's 7'1", 260 on a good day, right?
00:09And then I have heard, and this, you know, he went in the first round.
00:14And then he got traded, obviously, to the Blazers, right?
00:18So now I have heard over and over since that happened that it was a terrible pick and that they wasted a pick that high.
00:29They must be crazy.
00:30They don't know what they're doing.
00:32You know, Portland wanted him, so they made a trade and got him.
00:36And then, you know, I don't know if you're aware.
00:39Have you seen this guy's film?
00:41Like, it truly is amazing to me for his size, his footwork, and his ability to, to me, and I know he's not Joker, but he plays like him.
00:51He passes.
00:52He's got spin moves.
00:54He's got shovel shots.
00:56He's got kiss shots.
00:57He's got all, every trick in the book.
01:00And he finds teammates cutting for a gigantic big Chinese dude.
01:06I'm sitting here watching this guy going, what is happening here?
01:09This guy can flat out play.
01:11Now, I know he had two seasons pro in China.
01:14And then I know that he had an amazing combine where everyone was like, what the hell is happening here?
01:21So, what did you think when you saw him go that high?
01:24And do you think he can turn into something based on his hands, shoots with both hands, passes like a whiz, like Arvidas Sabon is passing, and he's got footwork.
01:36Then I hear people say he's a defensive liability.
01:40He's awful.
01:40It's a horrible pick from people that, you know, you got all these people that think they know everything.
01:46I want to know what you think when you saw him play, because I really don't care about all the media types that think they're experts.
01:51Well, at 7'2", his ability to move around the basket, you know, his ability to score with either hand, his passing.
01:58Yeah, you heard Mini Joker, if you wanted to, you know, maybe a little bit taller version of Ferencengun.
02:04Yeah, I see it.
02:05Listen, I don't mind the player.
02:09It's the fact that you traded back once.
02:11You could have traded back again and got more draft assets.
02:13Here's why, Pharrell.
02:14If you looked at that, you had two particular bigs, Maxime Renard and Ryan Kalkbrenner, who was above Yang Han Sen on my draft board.
02:25But at the end of the day, you know, at the end of the day, you go get him.
02:29So I'll get Portland.
02:29You go get him.
02:31My bigger problem is you just drafted Donovan Klingon last year in the first round, right?
02:37You still have Robert Williams and DeAndre.
02:39Now, listen, one has always hurt, and the other one is never denominated, even though he says it's all about denomination.
02:46But to me, that's my bigger issue.
02:49It's not the fact that you took this kid, but you just spent a lottery pick last year on Donovan Klingon.
02:54Are you telling us right now that Donovan Klingon, who showed flashes his rookie year, is already a flop?
03:00Because I don't think Donovan Klingon or Yang Han Sen, neither one of them, could shoot the ball like it's Carl Anthony Towns, where he could go play two seven-footers along with each other.
03:12So to me, I don't mind the player.
03:15I just think you could have traded back.
03:17And with four now centers on their roster, I wonder what Portland's going to do next.
03:22Because one, if not two of those centers need to be moved.
