00:00Very, very bad ones. Go ahead.
00:01Thank you, Mr. President.
00:02On your tax bill, if I could for a moment.
00:05Senators are racing to rewrite parts of it right now
00:08after the Senate parliamentarian ruled that sections of it
00:11were outside of the process that they're using to get this through.
00:15Do you think that senators should respect the decisions of the parliamentarian?
00:19And what have you personally done in the last 48 hours
00:22to try and get Republican senators who are against the bill to a yes?
00:26Well, look, it's a great bill.
00:28It's a massive tax cut.
00:31If it's not approved, your taxes will go up by 68%.
00:34Think of that, 68, a record, the highest in the history.
00:38The Democrats won't approve it only because politically
00:40it's so good for the Republicans.
00:42The Democrats aren't approving it.
00:44But think of what they're not approving.
00:45They're not approving border security.
00:47We've done a great job at the border, but we have to add some war.
00:51We have to do various things.
00:53We have no money for that.
00:54We have no money for the border.
00:55We have no money for so many things.
00:58But if the Democrats, it would be interesting to see if we get any Democrat votes.
01:02We should.
01:03If I were a Democrat, I would absolutely, maybe Fetterman,
01:05because he seems to be the most sensible one lately.
01:08If I were a Democrat, I would vote for this bill all day long
01:11because it's tax cuts and so many other things that are common sense.
01:15They're basic things.
01:16I think they're doing fine.
01:18The parliamentarian has been a little difficult, and I would say that I disagree with the parliamentarian
01:26on some things and on other ways he's been fine.
01:29But we'll have to see.
01:30It's a big issue.
01:32I will tell you this.
01:33If that bill doesn't pass, the country will get a 68 percent tax increase.
01:39So think of this.
01:40You're a Democrat and you vote against it.
01:43That means you're voting in favor because, essentially, you're voting in favor of the largest tax hike in the history of our country.
01:50And you can't do that.
01:51In addition, we're cutting costs by $1.7 trillion, and it won't affect anybody.
01:57It's just fraud, waste, and abuse.
01:59Mr. President, let's make the president of the president.
02:01Mr. President, a leading global economist just today.
