Police were called to Edinburgh’s city centre following reports of an unresponsive man on Princes Street.

The incident happened near the Mound at around 6am on Wednesday, June 25.

Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers said the death is being treated as unexplained.
