DPWH monitors 3-ton limit of vehicles passing through San Juanico Bridge

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) uses weighbridge systems and axle load sensors to monitor the gross vehicular weight of all units approaching the San Juanico Bridge. Any vehicle exceeding the 3-ton weight limit is strictly prohibited from crossing to prevent structural fatigue and preserve the long-term integrity of the 2.16-kilometer span.
