Torre trains ahead of supposed bout with Duterte's son
Philippine National Police Chief Nicanor Torre III spars with a boxing instructor at the PNP gym in Camp Crame, Quezon City on July 24, 2025. Torre responded a to a challenge by Davao City Vice Mayor Sebastian Duterte to a fistfight. Torre accepted Duterte's dare and even suggested to turn it into a charity even to raise funds for typhoon victims. Both were reportedly practicing their boxing skills for the event. In another video sent to The Manila Times on July 23, 2025, Torre appears to make light of the matter during the oath taking for the PNP press corps.
