00:00A couple big UFC cards are behind us now, so a pretty good time to remind everyone of where we
00:17are at when it comes to the pound for pound rankings. We will begin on the men's side.
00:23At number 10, it's Jon Jones. I have to keep him on here because of all the achievements he has. He is still technically the heavyweight champion of the world, but this is getting ridiculous. Dana White is just clueless in this entire situation. Jon Jones, get off of social media, it's not helping anybody. And it has been a very, very frustrating, frustrating thing to have to put up with.
00:51So, just stop it. And so, because of that, he is down at number 10. At 9, you have Magomed Ankulaev, who is making his way into the rankings after he claims the 205-pound championship.
01:06Pantoja stays at number 8. At number 7, it is Alex Pajera. Yes, he falls down after losing the championship. No, he is not behind the guy who beat him because Pajera has still put together an amazing resume.
01:21And one loss does not slow that down. So, he needs to get back on the horse. We'll see where he goes. But it is one of the all-time great runs. I'm not going to dismiss anything for that.
01:32At number 6, it's Alex Volkanovski, who makes his way back onto the rankings after the championship win that he had to reclaim gold at 145 pounds.
01:41At 5, it's Tom Aspinall, who is a knockout machine, but inactivity now, as frustrating as it is, the inactivity, I have to have him down at number 5.
01:51Coming in at number 4, it is Mirab Davalashvili. He makes a huge jump in the rankings from 8 to 4, answering so many questions in the fight against Sean O'Malley.
01:59Unfortunately, it solidifies his title reign. Maybe it shouldn't have taken him this long, or me this long, to get him up into number 4 spot, but he is here now.
02:10Continuing on here with our UFC pound-for-pound rankings, but Deed's asking,
02:14Hey PK, where do we get great Calgary swag? Of course, it's CFDead403.ca.
02:19People on the stream, it's getting repetitive now. People on the podcast, he said it once. Cool.
02:25The joys of editing, and all of that. But yes, look, I mean, look, look how good this hat looks.
02:30I can't, I love this thing. Look how great this thing looks.
02:33Anyway, for people listening on the podcast, that part was really annoying.
02:36Coming in at number 3, it's Strikas Duplessy.
02:39A couple of very high-level wins gets him to this point, where he is now top 3, pound-for-pound, in my rankings.
02:47At 2, it is Ilya Teporia. His opportunity to be a champ-champ maybe goes away with certain results that we have had over the last little bit,
02:54but for now, he stays at number 2.
02:57And number 1, it is Islam Makashev, who will be daring to be great, moving up to 170 pounds shortly.
03:05But even still, he is number 1 on the pound-for-pound rankings for the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
