00:00it was a great result of course it wasn't you know necessarily uh you know written in stone

00:03there for a while you know you came in early you caught kleckler with a good right hand and then

00:07it seemed like you were going for blood chasing him then he dropped you and caught you uh what

00:11were you thinking at that point you know still early in the fight you know you must have been

00:15you had the adrenaline pumping just from getting into the squared circle then you catch him you

00:18think you're on the verge of finishing him then you get caught uh you know did it just all the

00:22adrenaline drop there and you get pissed off at yourself were you still you know high and ready

00:25to go what was the feeling at that point i got i got really really mad at myself i was like i don't

00:32know if you can see the expression on my face when i came up off the canvas um but you know i popped

00:37back up he clipped me as i was overextended and it was just enough to take my legs out from underneath

00:42me and i went down and i felt really i felt even worse about it after the fact finding out that uh

00:49camera guy nick vespe got his camera smashed right into his face when i fell um so it was a

00:55little extra insult to injury at that point but i was the i was just mad i was just super pissed off

01:01and i was like all right i got my feet underneath me i'm clear i got cracked we're not making that

01:06mistake again it's gonna go my way right now well you certainly didn't you collected yourself went there

01:11and got the victory that you thought you already had there as you chased him down you end up dropping

01:16in that big exchange between you guys you know you throw in those big overhands it caught him

01:19dropped him did you know once he went down that you know you contacted enough and that was going to be

01:23it i i didn't i didn't you know i never know it's never over until it's over you know i knew the way

01:30he felt that i got him really good and clean and this was going to be my chance to potentially finish

01:35it if he got back up but you never know until somebody actually you know gets the the count and

01:41either answers it or doesn't answer it well those uppercuts look like you said very clean especially

01:47either half clinch they're doing your job getting him right where you wanted him and finishing the

01:51job a great fight for you against a guy who was you know obviously a very tough opponent had been you

01:56know fought for a title a couple years ago so you know a guy who's you know the top of that division

02:01there and now you put yourself and your name in that and those rankings and trying to get your name

02:04out there to you know go chase that title like you want you talked about uh watson and de Castro who you

02:09watched before you and how you know you're watching the whole heavyweight division you want

02:12to make that title run how do you feel you stand right now two fights into the bkfc career

02:16i i think the next person they got to give me is going to be potentially a ranked opponent if not

02:22somebody right underneath the rankings you know i'm right there myself i feel like and uh i you know

02:27i'm not i'm not trying to mess around like i said that night i want to scrap for that strap and

02:32that's totally what my tunnel vision is on right now so whoever i got to go through on the way to get to

02:38that is is who i have to take and you know we can't wait to see who that is uh you had a good

02:45run in the ufc before you came to the bkfc then had a couple year layoff there for you what was it

02:49that you know drew you into the bkfc after you know going through the highs of the highs in the

02:53ufc uh having that time off what was it that drew you to the bkfc and how have you enjoyed it so far

02:57your first two fights oh first of all i've obviously loved it since my first two fights have been

03:03first round finishes um you know it's hard not to love something like that uh with that kind of

03:09outcome but um what really drew me to it was i when i left the ufc and i wasn't i just knew i wasn't

03:17done i didn't like the way that it ended i certainly wasn't sure what was coming next um and the bkfc

03:23originally wasn't on my radar and then as things got progressed at home with you know scheduling you

03:29know scheduling and the busyness of everything i got more back into training i was like i'm ready

03:33to take a fight my manager offered it up to me and i was like you know what this this has always been

03:38something that intrigued me because it's kind of like the final frontier so that's that's really

03:43what that drew me to it is make it as real as possible take the gloves off
