00:00What has that transition been like for you to go from Bellator to the PFL and, you know, to go from where you're doing training camp for each fight and you're focusing on one guy maybe three to six months, you know, maybe two, three times a year you fight to three fights in, you know, a couple of months here and just constantly training and being ready for the next guy in this tournament format that PFL put into place this year?
00:20I just feel like overall I'm skilled, you know, so to transition from one guy to the next guy, like Josh is completely different to Impa, but because overall my skill set's good, I find it pretty easy to switch from one to the next, you know, and my mindset for this whole tournament is one fight at a time and I'm just focusing on myself because I just believe as long as I'm the best version of myself,
00:50here ever I'm fighting, I'm going to beat them. So that's what I'm focused on. It's being a better version than what I was six, seven weeks ago.
00:58And we look forward to seeing that version, all the work that you put in to get even better at this point. You talk about Savera, how he's different. What are you looking for in this fight for him? What do you see from him in his previous fights? Obviously he got to win the quarterfinals, getting past shipment, but I lost three or four before that. What have you looked at at the tape for him that, you know, you think works well for you and your fight style?
01:16I just think I want it more. You know, I feel like my fight IQ is better than his, you know, I feel like I'm sharper than him. Just my decision making and all of that.
01:29But if I look at him as a fighter, I just think his biggest attribute is that he takes a good shot. And that's honestly, he takes a good shot in his big game.
01:38But overall, skill for skill, I believe I'm the better man. You know, and if we need to go into a dogfight, I believe that I'm a bigger dog than him.
01:48Yeah. I mean, I don't think the fight will get to that point, but yeah, I think skill for skill, I'm, I'm, I'm bad in him.
01:56Well, we can't wait to see if you put that to use here and show us that, of course, in this fight, we're looking forward to that in Chicago on ESPN.
02:04People make sure they check it out. Obviously, if you win this fight, you know, you're going to be, you don't want to look ahead.
02:07As you said, you can focus on your opponent, but you got Dalton Ross and Aaron Jeffrey facing up as well in this card and the other semifinal.
02:13And of course, if you win this tournament, then you possibly get a third shot at Johnny Eblen if he holds it into his belt in South Africa.
02:20What are you looking for in that other semifinal? And how would a fight be different against Eblen the third time?
02:26Yeah, I, you know, they're all the same. They're all the same. I think Aaron or Dalton, pretty much similar fighters, you know, so whoever that would be facing after this fight, it'd be similar preparation. So I'm ready.
