00:00J-Dub has been unbelievable in these games.
00:03He gets better every game.
00:06He has gotten better every game in all facets you can think of,
00:10including scoring.
00:1117 in game one, 19 in game two, 26 in game three, 27 in game four,
00:17and then, of course, the 40-piece in game number five.
00:21Yes, it's nice that they've won three games,
00:24but got to get that fourth one to get the chip.
00:27Here is J-Dub.
00:28You try and take the lessons from each series and go from there.
00:33So a lot of it for this series was like game one, for example.
00:36It's like, all right, we lose game one, pretty heartbreaking one.
00:41Obviously, a game winner in the finals for them is super cool,
00:44and for us it sucks, but just kind of having a maturity
00:47of understanding the highs and lows of a series.
00:50And the biggest thing for us is it's first to four, not first to three.
00:53So the same way that we felt game one, they probably felt last game,
00:57and they're going to come in focused for this one.
00:58So you try and take the lessons a little bit from Denver
01:01and understand what we could have did game six.
01:03Like, we didn't come out ready to play, quite frankly, in game six,
01:06and we didn't do a good job of sustaining our energy through that series.
01:09So we're going to try and do a little better with that on this one.
01:12And, you know, where the chips fall, they fall.
01:14But a lot of that is just trying to, like, grow through each experience.
01:16Well, I mean, tonight's going to be insane.
01:18They either get it done or they don't.
01:20I think they'll get it done either way.
01:23If they don't get it done tonight, Sunday they'll win the championship
01:25because they're the better team and they're the better defense.
01:30Anyway, you slice it, that full court press to the Pacers is really good,
01:34but it's not as good as Oak City's defense, which is suffocating
01:39and which creates more turnovers than anyone has ever seen.
01:42So they are up in your shack all night.
01:46When you bring that ball over that timeline, you got problems.
01:49I think the Pacers try to harass you all the way up to court, you know,
01:54and on both ends, they're, you know, in your face.
01:57But, you know, these are pros.
01:59I don't think it's that hard to bring the ball up to court.
02:04I don't even think the Knicks had a problem with it.
02:06I think the inbounds pass has been a problem for teams
02:09because McConnell's stolen so many of those.
02:12You have to, you know, be aware of what's going on
02:16when you're inbounding that ball because if you're lazy
02:18and you sleep for one second, he's going to pick your pocket
02:22as sure as I'm sitting here.
02:24But, you know, look at the numbers.
02:26Mike, what do the numbers tonight say about this game?
02:29I know I bet the total this morning.
02:31I'll give you that.
02:31I'll tell you what I did.
02:33Yeah.
02:33Here's what we have for game number six tonight.
02:36As of this very moment, Oklahoma City minus six on the road.
02:43222.5 is the total.
02:47Of course, it's gone down quite a bit
02:49from when this series first started.
02:53Yeah, look, it was 221.5 this morning,
02:56and I, believe it or not, bet the under.
02:5995% of the public has bet the over tonight.
03:03All the money's on the over, and I went the other way.
03:07I went the under, and I think both teams, if, you know,
03:13this is going to be a war tonight, a war of attrition,
03:16and I think both teams have to play phenomenal defense
03:19if they want to win.
03:21If the Pacers are going to turn the ball over
03:24like they did the other night, the series is over.
03:26They cannot turn the ball over,
03:28and they have to create turnovers with their defense.
03:31I think defense tonight is the story, so that's my guess.
03:36I don't think J-Dub's having 41 or 42.
03:39He's been better in every game.
03:41He's not having no 40 burger tonight at the field house.
03:44That's job number one of the Pacers.
03:46We're not letting this guy have 42 points tonight.
03:49He had 40 the other night.
03:50He's done better in each game.
03:51We just went through it, right, the ascension.
03:54Okay, so, and they cannot let Shea Gilgis have 45 points.
03:58He had 31 in the game in Oak City.
04:02I think his number's still in that window of 28 to 35.
04:06That's what he's good for every night.
04:08If they can keep him under 28 points,
04:11I consider that a major step toward them covering.
04:16So, I think they have a shot to cover to six and a half,
04:19and I bet the under.
04:19We're at a topstick.
04:20Good night.
04:22Bye-bye.
04:22Bye-bye.
04:24Bye-bye.
04:25Take care.
04:30Bye-bye.
04:39All right.
04:44Bye-bye.
04:46Bye-bye.
04:47Bye-bye.
04:48Bye-bye.
04:49Bye-bye.
04:49Bye-bye.
