00:00All right, here's J-Dub saying the last game was great, but whatever.
00:05Yeah, it's a blessing for sure.
00:09God's put me in a good space, man.
00:12It's kind of like bittersweet because it happens in the finals,
00:15so a lot of it is like getting over it pretty quickly.
00:18So I've stopped thinking about it, but that night was really cool.
00:22It's something that I don't take for granted.
00:25Yeah, elite company for sure, but it's something that I've also put on the back burner.
00:28For me, that game no longer matters, and now we're trying to close out a series.
00:33But looking back on it, when I'm done playing basketball,
00:36just to be in those conversations I think is really cool and really special.
00:40Half of my family gets to be a part of it too.
00:42For them to be at the game was super cool.
00:44I said yesterday watching him in Arizona as a kid and then going to Santa Clara
00:49and what he's become in the NBA is pretty special.
00:52I think he's on his way to greater heights,
00:56and I think tomorrow night he needs to go off again.
00:59I mean, that'll be four straight games where he's trying to have over 27,
01:03and a 40-burger was incredible.
01:04I think he can do it again.
01:05I think he can have 30 again at least.
01:07It's going to be a lot harder to have 30 at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse
01:11than it is at the Paycom and OKC, though.
01:14Great call, though, Scott.
01:15But you hear him compared to other guys?
01:17Like, look how cool that press conference was.
01:18It seemed very authentic.
01:19Like, me and you have been around the business.
01:21Like, we've been doing this stuff for a long time.
01:23I listen to people, and I'm like, you know what I mean?
01:25That kid seems like he's got something.
01:28Like, he appreciates things.
01:30I like his attitude.
01:32There's a lot to like with him.
01:33Williams is a guy that you cheer for, and I couldn't agree with you more, man.
01:36I think he's going to put up a huge game again.
01:38He's going to be a monster.
01:39Let's look at the MVP odds for the finals right now.
01:43And obviously, everyone's darling is Shea Gilgis.
01:47I actually – and now look, I know they're going to give it to him.
01:50He's going to get all the hardware like the leader of every team does, basically.
01:54But I honestly think, for my money, that J-Dubs played better in the games that matter.
02:00Like, this game, you know, here we go.
02:02This is game six.
02:03It's gone deeper and deeper.
02:04And as it gets more intense, the games are better and more meaningful, and they matter more.
02:11And he's been the guy.
02:13He's the guy that's doing all the damage to the Pacers.
02:16I think he should be the MVP, but he's not going to get it.
02:19No, it never works that way.
02:21You know the same thing for, like, Super Bowl MVP.
02:23A defensive guy, he has to have basically two defensive touchdowns and, you know, block a kid.
02:27He's got to do everything, or else you just give it to the quarterback or receiver running back.
02:30You know the way it works, Scott.
02:31And SGA is the face of the franchise.
02:33He will win.
02:34He's got to do everything.
