00:00We'll start with Connor McDavid.
00:02I lost a really good team.
00:05Nobody quit, nobody threw the towel, and they're a heck of a team.
00:13You know, the Stanley Cup champions back-to-back for a reason.
00:15That's like a guy at the sales convention, he just couldn't close the deal.
00:20I mean, obviously, their forecheck was great.
00:22They tilted the rink.
00:23They were able to kind of stay on top of us all over the place.
00:26Never really able to generate any momentum up the ice.
00:35You know, we kept trying the same thing over and over again,
00:38just banging our heads against the wall.
00:39So credit to them.
00:42They picked it up.
00:43Listen, I'll give him credit that he stands there every night
00:46and is the only guy that ever does an interview besides Dry Side.
00:49The two of them are the only ones that ever talk, and he faces the music.
00:54But I'll say this to you.
00:55I'll say I have never seen a team have the puck less than them
01:00in a Stanley Cup final.
01:02I mean, they never had the puck.
01:03Great call by you, Scott, and two.
01:05They panicked.
01:05They switched up the lines all the time.
01:07There was no chemistry.
01:08And another thing is, Gabe and I talk about it here in the Canadian media,
01:11these Oilers guys, their media, they never stop.
01:15Like, they are all – like, I don't even know how these guys –
01:17like, they got some old curmudgeons,
01:19and these guys won't let them off the hook every night.
01:21Like, I'm surprised no players, like, put a guy in a headlock
01:24or kick them in the teeth.
01:25Like, these guys are relentless.
01:27Like, I'd hate to deal with the Oilers media.
01:29They're shirts.
01:29Yeah, there's no doubt.
01:32The Canadian media, when it comes to hockey, is on another level.
01:36And so they haven't won it since 93, so the abuse continues.
01:40Here's the coach who I think – personally, I think his days are numbered.
01:44Here we go.
01:44No, there's no silver lining to this.
01:49It's still heart-wrenching.
01:52It's very difficult to handle right now.
01:56No, it's just because we were maybe the underdogs going to the L.A. series,
02:01underdogs against Vegas, Dallas series.
02:05It hurts right now, and I don't think it's going to let up for a while.
02:11Who does he look like?
02:11What actor does that guy look like?
02:13He looks familiar.
02:14Is he a guy from, like, Star Trek or something?
02:17There's something about that guy.
02:18I don't know what he is.
02:19Chuck Knobloch.
02:20Yeah, Chuck Knobloch.
02:23I love Chuck Knobloch.
02:25Now, anyway, he looks like somebody – an actor.
02:27I've got to figure it out.
02:28Do you know that Luke is not older than how long it's taken a Canadian team,
02:36since 93, the Canadians, to win the Cup?
02:41It's older than Luke.
02:42The losing streak is older than Luke.
02:44Wow.
02:44Wow.
