00:00Game number four, Oilers and Panthers. Of course, the Panthers raced out to a 3-0 lead in the first
00:06period. The Oilers respond with three goals of their own in the second. Oilers looked like they
00:12were going to take a lead and then a Reinhardt goal in the final minute forces overtime. And
00:17who has been Mr. Overtime so far in the Stanley Cup playoffs? Leon Dreisaitl has been on Oilers
00:25Radio. On change, breaking free is Dreisaitl to the next door! Leon Dreisaitl has tied this
00:34series with his fourth OT winner in the playoffs. Final score, Edmonton 5, Florida 4 in overtime!
00:48That is the strongest effort yet by anyone. That was it right there. That was the call
00:58right there. By the way, I got to tell you, I don't know if you saw this, but Scotty Scheffler
01:04was just on a practice range, just going at it with his coach. What was that about? He
01:11was like cussing him out. He was flailing arms, screaming at him, yelling at him. You
01:19can't deny that. Watch it. It's crazy. The guy's getting in an argument with the guy. He's
01:24getting in a fight with the guy. Don't even tell me I'm wrong. He's giving him the business.
01:29He's giving him the business. His hat off, started waving his arms, pointing at him, giving
01:35him hell. You can't deny it. Again, and look, that's not a position that he's normally in,
01:42right? You're talking about him not being at the top of the leaderboard, hanging at the
01:47cut line is where Scotty Scheffler is right now. He's going to make it. The plus fives
01:51are going to play the weekend, but this is not a norm. He's going to go out early tomorrow
01:57morning. He'll be one of the first guys out the gate for the third round. So we'll see
02:02if Scotty, but he was giving him a, he would give him a pretty good business out there to
02:06the coach. Anyway, so how about this guy, Dreisaitl and his overtime performances? That's
02:13why I took him yesterday. I said, I like Dreisaitl in overtime to score the winner. And he did
02:18it again, just like game one. So, you know, we wanted to come out strong. Okay. There you
02:24go. But they put us on our heels early and we were kind of lollygagging around a little
02:31bit. And, um, certainly not the time to lollygag around, right? Um, especially after getting
02:36spanked, uh, in, in game three. So, uh, Corey, Corey spoke up, uh, obviously a guy that everybody,
02:43you know, when he speaks up, you, you listen and you do, you do what he says. And, uh,
02:49you know, we did a great job of grabbing it, grabbing some momentum and then keeping it.
02:54Um, we're in the finals. They're going to have their push too. That's, that's a heck
02:59of a hockey team over there, but, um, you know, this time you got to stick with it. And, uh,
03:04I thought we done a really good job of that tonight. Uh, you know, I just, the fact that
03:09they got the Reinhardt goal with 19 seconds left, I couldn't believe it. And then I thought
03:14they'd lose for sure. Uh, when they gave up that goal, it's a backbreaker with under 20 seconds
03:21left in the game. You got to win the game up, uh, four, three. And instead they go to
03:26overtime and they somehow found a way and dry sidle scored it. So now they go home and
03:32you can call it whatever you want. Uh, momentum, make up, whatever word you want. This is reality.
03:39It's like Gabe said, they, you know, they have to capitalize on being at Rogers place for once
03:45in their effing lives and win this game. If they win that game on Saturday night, they'll
03:51end up winning the Stanley cup when it's all said and done. I think I really believe that
03:56I think, and I've always said all year that the Oilers are going to win the Stanley cup
04:00and David McDavid is going to get it. Dry sidle is going to get it. They're going to put
04:04their names on the Stanley cup. And that's that they got to win that game. If they lose that
04:09game, they're going to lose the Stanley cup to the Panthers in six and sunrise.
04:13Uh, lots of records here, uh, from this series, especially with dry sidle, he's, he's got four
04:20overtime goals. Now in the playoffs, that's the most ever in a single post season in the NHL,
04:27the four overtime winners. He's got two in the Stanley cup final. He joins, uh, the immortal Don
04:35rally. I know you remember him from the 1950 New York Rangers and John Leclerc from the 93 Canadians,
04:43only players to score two overtime winners in the same Stanley cup final. So dry side,
04:49he might get a third by the time we're done.
