00:00Going to be headlined by heavyweights, the big boys swinging up there in Newcastle,
00:04and that will be Parker Porter versus Dylan Kleckler.
00:07Porter, the 40-year-old New Englander, former MMA fighter, 6'73", reach, 1-0 in the BKFC,
00:13his only fight, a first-round TKO win over Chase Gormley in February at the Mohegan Sun,
00:18so very familiar with that arena.
00:19Going to be taking on Kleckler, the 43-year-old from Florida, former MMA fighter,
00:2411-1 in his MMA career.
00:25He's going to be a little bit taller, a little bit longer, 6'3", 76-inch reach,
00:30won his first three BKFC fights in 2020 and 2021 before facing Arnold Adams for the title
00:35and lost by a second-round TKO there, but hasn't fought in the BKFC since.
00:39That was three years ago, making his return here after fighting in glove boxing
00:43and some bare-knuckle MMA.
00:45You have the new fighter, but not new as far as age, but, you know, they're similar in age,
00:50but Porter, the 40-year-old, new to the BKFC still, Kleckler a little more experienced,
00:54but could he be rusty coming back to the sport he hasn't been in?
00:57I'm going with Kleckler.
00:58Both these guys, either way, no matter who wins, I think someone's getting dropped,
01:03as you often have with the heavyweights, but I'm going to go with Kleckler this one by KO.
01:06I think he's just fought a little bit better competition so far,
01:09and I think I'm a little more, you know, a little more confident in his game
01:15from what we've seen early in his BKFC career,
01:18even if it's been a couple years out of the squared circle.
01:21Then at heavyweight, again, more big boys swinging, more probably KO finishes here
01:26as you get Jorgen DeCastro versus Josh Staydown Watson.
01:29DeCastro, the mad Titan, the 38-year-old, originally from Cafe Verde,
01:33now lives in Massachusetts, a former UFC fighter.
01:356'2", 73-inch reach.
01:38He beat Bobby Brents by second-round TKO at the Mohegan Sun in February.
01:41Again, a lot of fights from these guys on this card that have already been there before
01:45in this arena, knowing what they're dealing with, that could be an advantage maybe for those guys.
01:51You know, you get a little bit of a smaller arena, different feel, smaller ring than you might have had
01:55in some of these other fights that they have had before in other arenas.
02:00Staydown Watson, though, well-experienced, a 35-year-old New Englander
02:03who now lives out in Vegas, training out there.
02:05He's a former NFL player and MMA fighter.
02:08Going to be a little short, a 6-foot, but a 78-inch reach,
02:11and that's going to be a big thing for him to try to keep the mad Titan at bay.
02:143-1 to BKFC, lost his first fight, now has won three in a row,
02:18all by first or second round KO, TKO in his BKFC career.
02:22So again, as I said, this ain't going five.
02:25Now these guys, we'll see who ends up on the winning side of this.
02:29I'm leaning towards the cash show.
02:32Staydown Watson has showed how tough he is.
02:33He showed he's a badass. He showed he can drop guys.
02:36But I think even despite that reach, you know, for a lot of guys,
02:39that could be the death knoll, you know, just being able to throw out that jab
02:42before you land the big power punch behind it that the guy's not expecting.
02:46I think we've seen from the cash show over his career,
02:48both in the UFC and now here in the BKFC, that the guy's got a chin,
02:52and he's not afraid to walk through some punches to get his hands on you.
02:56So I'm going to go with Jorgen de Castro getting the victory here.
02:58Also on the card, you have a middleweight fight between Brennan Ward, Irish Brennan Ward,
03:04versus J.R. Rumley.
03:06Rumley, the 32-year-old from Virginia, former MMA fighter who had a long amateur career.
03:11Most of his wins by submission.
03:12Now taking off the gloves, making his BKFC debut.
03:16And, you know, we'll see how that translates.
03:17It's one thing to make that transition from boxing, MMA,
03:20or, you know, some other form of combat sport where your primary way of winning was knocking fools out.
03:25But now when you can take a guy to the mat, now when you can choke him out or tap him out any which way,
03:30that takes something out of your game.
03:31You know, what do all those years of training for that go for?
03:34Can you just transition easy?
03:35Some guys are able to do it.
03:37Some have a little bit more struggles with that.
03:39We'll see if Irish Brennan Ward can take advantage of that.
03:41The 37-year-old from Connecticut, former MMA fighter in the UFC and Bellator,
03:45where he had a 19-7 record for his career, went on the BKFC.
03:49His only fight in the BKFC, a 38-second knockout over James Dennis in February.
03:54Again, at this Mohegan Sun, a guy from the area, from Connecticut.
03:58Again, I have a lot of people behind him, a lot of experience, you know, fighting in that area,
04:02experience fighting in this ring for the BKFC at this venue.
04:05I'm going to go Irish Brennan Ward by TKO in this one to take out the debuting J.R. Rumley.
04:12Also, at Bantamweight, you have Lardy Navarro versus Anthony Foy.
04:16Navarro, youngster, 23 years old, 5'10", 17-inch reach, former amateur boxer.
04:20Now, he's 2-1 in the BKFC.
04:23He beat Prater by first-round KO in March of 22, lost to Gonzalez by KO in February of 23,
04:28beat Grady by fourth-round KO in February, this February, at the Mohegan Sun.
04:32So, again, it's fought here in this ring.
04:35A little bit of time in between his fights.
04:36We'll be taking on Foy, the hitman from North Carolina,
04:38who's going to be a little shorter, but a lot longer reach.
04:41The former MMA fighter is only 1-3 in the BKFC, though.
04:44So, I'm going to go with the youngster here, Navarro, by TKO.
04:46We're also excited to see Rick Hahn back in action here.
04:50The 48-year-old former Judo Olympian and MMA fighter getting back in there for the BKFC.
04:55I think he wins by TKO.
