00:03You know, he talked about in his post-fight about how Munzi, you know, disrespected him,

00:08didn't think anything of him, and he got choked out.

00:10What did you see from his fight, and what are you expecting as you get ready for these semis in a couple weeks?

00:15I'm expecting a tough, gritty fight, man.

00:17I know Mando, I've been following him for a bit on the regional scene.

00:21Me and him were actually going to fight not that long ago on a regional promotion.

00:24Didn't go through, and now here we are on the major stage fighting to get to the tournament finals, man.

00:31It's crazy how things turn out like that, man.

00:34That being said, though, I know this is going to be a very tough fight.

00:38He comes forward. He hits very hard. He likes to wrestle.

00:41He likes to do a lot of things I do, but I think I'm going to just be better everywhere, man.

00:46I'm just going to be better everywhere, win this fight, and go to the finals, and show the world I belong here.

00:50We talked about that short weight cut, about how that can affect the guy you were.

00:55You might guess out after the first, but you didn't.

00:56How much do you think training out there at Elevation in Colorado gives you that advantage over some of these guys?

01:02It gives a massive advantage training at Elevation, but also, more so than that, man,

01:06what made me get through that was my 15 years of consistent training since I was 18.

01:10I'm 33 years old now. I've been doing this my whole life.

01:13I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but if you've been training your whole life,

01:16you can wrap things together in about two weeks and put on a performance.
