Josh Smith got things started with a leadoff home run as the Texas Rangers unleashed a massive offensive surge yesterday. They hit a season-high six home runs and scored 16 runs, overpowering a strong Minnesota Twins pitching staff for the second time in three games. Bobby questioned whether the Rangers’ offensive explosion is the real deal or just a brief hot streak. With easier opponents ahead, he believes the upcoming stretch of games could be vital for a potential playoff push.
