00:00A more unstable world presents new challenges at our borders too, where
00:04conflict has opened the way for organised criminal gangs. The British
00:08people rightly expect us to have control of who comes into our country. The party
00:14opposite said that they would take back control. Well, Mr Speaker, they lost
00:20control. With one failed policy after another, no control, no security. In
00:30contrast, in the budget last year, I announced £150 million to establish the
00:36new Border Security Command. And today, to support the integrity of our borders, I
00:42can announce that that funding will increase with up to £280 million more
00:48per year by the end of the spending review for our new Border Security Command.
