17-year-old girl shot by police at Townsville pub in North Queensland

An investigation is underway into the shooting of a woman by police at a Townsville pub.

00:00Police have revealed that the woman that was shot was actually a 17-year-old girl.

00:07Now, police say they were called to the West End Hotel near the Townsville CBD at about 5.30pm yesterday afternoon

00:22Now, first aid was rendered to the girl on the scene and she was transported to the Townsville University Hospital
