00:00Film ang ginagamit nung araw, right?
00:02Pag take one ka,
00:03oh, perfect, you're superb.
00:05Eh ngayon, digital na.
00:06So kahit 11 takes yun,
00:08which pagod na pagod ka na.
00:10Pwede mong ulit-ulitin.
00:12So hindi ka nag-aaksayan ng pelikula.
00:30Actually, I was graduating from elementary
00:34when I started
00:34and they wanted me to stop.
00:36But I refused
00:37because I'm like,
00:39ayoko namang magintang ako, right?
00:40Wala kong alam, hinto ka.
00:42So I finished high school
00:44and after that,
00:44they wanted me to stop again
00:45because I had a five-year contract
00:47na exclusive
00:47and I was making like five films a year
00:50plus I had my TV show for,
00:52the Hilda show for about five and a half years.
00:54I really wanted that education
00:56and after that,
00:56I went to Merinol, you know,
00:58pero ayoko huminto talaga.
01:00Napakahirap,
01:01especially ang shooting ko.
01:02For example,
01:03I was shooting in Quezon
01:04for one of our films,
01:05Salia Productions.
01:06And sa buong umaga up to 1 o'clock,
01:08I'm in school.
01:10Naka-rollers ako noon
01:11and everything,
01:11nakakatawa talaga.
01:13And then after leaving the school,
01:16tuloy na ako ng Quezon province.
01:18Pag magdamag ako sa Quezon province,
01:19balik din ako ng Manila.
01:21For three weeks,
01:22I did not sleep
01:22para makagraduate lang ako.
01:24Just understanding of a lot of things,
01:26especially literature,
01:27you know, things like that
01:28because I was taking up
01:29international studies
01:30which is foreign service.
01:31Medyo iba
01:32dun sa aking industriya.
01:35But syempre,
01:35marami akong natutunan
01:37na pag-ubasa ng libro,
01:38ano mga libro
01:39kailangan mong basahin,
01:40things like that.
01:41Syempre,
01:41a good education
01:42is always good for you.
01:47I think I learned a lot
01:48from Dino
01:49because we sort of,
01:50I grew up with him
01:51in a sense
01:52because he started
01:53early in Lea,
01:55then sumunod ako.
01:56So I was like a clean slate
01:57when he got me.
01:59Marami akong
01:59natutunang techniques,
02:01things na hindi ko,
02:02hindi naman ako nakapag-aral
02:04ng mga acting,
02:05walang workshops
02:05noong araw,
02:06then voice lessons.
02:07We don't have any of those.
02:09I mean,
02:09we learned as we go along
02:10and since I had him
02:12for not just pelikula,
02:15I had him for
02:15five and a half years
02:16sa television
02:17because those are
02:18my training ground.
02:19I started radio pa eh,
02:20radio,
02:21television,
02:22and then pelikula,
02:23sabay-sabay halo yun.
02:24So yun ang training ground ko.
02:26So talagang malaking,
02:26marami akong natutunan
02:27kay Lino.
02:28All of us actors and actresses,
02:34I think we apply emotionally
02:36what we,
02:37yun ang turo din sa akin,
02:38isang mga tinuro sa akin ni Lino.
02:40Sabi niya,
02:40yung sama ng loob mo dito,
02:42dalin mo rito.
02:43So parang catharsis na rin
02:45yung para sa akin.
02:46So yung mga sama ng loob ko dyan,
02:47yung mga iniiyak ko,
02:48sinasama ko yun emotionally.
02:49Kung may mga eksena
02:50akong kamukha noon,
02:51na experience ko,
02:52pumapasok din yun.
02:53Lahat naman kami ganyan eh,
02:54pumapasok yung experiences namin.
02:56But syempre,
02:57we have a character
02:58that we develop
02:58and that's separate
02:59from what we are
03:01and who we are.
03:05Marami yun,
03:06but I will siguro
03:07choose Inshang for that matter
03:08because that was made
03:09specifically for me.
03:10Actually,
03:11we did Inshang already
03:13for The Hill,
03:14the show,
03:15before we did it
03:16on the big screen.
03:20That's why they're
03:21long-lasting eh.
03:22And I'm hoping
03:22for our movie now
03:24na maging ganun din,
03:26maging relevant
03:27until after a couple
03:29of decades.
03:30And I hope
03:31that it will inspire
03:32by the same token
03:33that it should be
03:35thought-provoking,
03:37makes you think.
03:37Of course,
03:38we go to see a film
03:39because we want to escape.
03:41You know,
03:41we have two hours
03:42of escaping life.
03:43But aside from that,
03:44aside from enjoying
03:45the film,
03:46I want it to be able
03:47to make people think
03:49and to come with me
03:50and journey with me
03:51when I'm doing this film,
03:52sumama sila sa akin.
03:57I like the old ways.
03:59I like some of the new ways too.
04:01But syempre,
04:02lucky ako dun
04:02sa era na yun.
04:03So,
04:03medyo masanay ako dun.
04:05But syempre,
04:06kinima ko naninibago masyado.
04:07In the old days,
04:08pag take one ka,
04:09kasi film ang ginagamit
04:10nung araw, right?
04:11Pag take one ka,
04:13oh,
04:13perfect,
04:13you're superb.
04:14Eh ngayon,
04:15digital na.
04:16So,
04:16kahit 11 takes yun,
04:18which pagod na,
04:18pagod ka na.
04:20Pwede mong ulit-ulitin.
04:21So,
04:21hindi ka nag-aaksiyan
04:22ng pelikula.
04:23So,
04:24yun,
04:24medyo mahirap mag-adjust
04:25na gano'n.
04:26Ba't sanay na ako
04:26sa television
04:27ng gano'n eh?
04:31It's a fascinating role.
04:32I am inviting everybody
04:34to watch Sisa
04:35because it's a really
04:35fascinating role.
04:37Maganda siya,
04:38tsaka historical,
04:39pero thriller din siya.
04:40So,
04:40naiiba naman dun
04:41sa usual na ginagawa ko.
04:432025 yan,
04:44definitely.
04:45But,
04:45may mga targets sila
04:46na pupunahan muna
04:47bago namin inabas dito.
04:49Pwede mong ulit-ulitin.
