00:10Police were called to the Moorpark Beach home just before 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon
00:15and found the three-year-old, lifeless, in the front yard.
00:19There were multiple wounds to the child's body, that's all I'm prepared to say.
00:23Neighbours heard screaming and ran to help, raising the alarm with police.
00:28We did respond to multiple AAA calls from the community,
00:31which included the neighbours who were involved and did witness sleep.
00:36Those neighbours are still in shock.
00:38Well, I haven't slept till the night. Me wife's been crying.
00:42Nah, I think good.
00:46Her mother, 32-year-old Lauren Flanagan, was arrested at the property and charged with murder.
00:52It's understood the parents were separated and the father wasn't at the home.
00:57It remains a crime scene with growing tributes for the little girl.
01:01Ms Flanagan's case was briefly mentioned in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court today
01:06where she was remanded in custody.
01:08Police say the circumstances leading up to the toddler's death are still being investigated.
01:14There are numerous witnesses from the neighbours that we're currently speaking to,
01:19just to try and piece together what has happened, but it is only early days.
01:24There are avenues that we can do from the public to the families on the long side of the street.

01:33They may be taken away from thishöver and they say they've taken away from the medical side of the road.
01:34They have to get away from this as a result.
