00:00So smiley, we tease it a little bit. 2016 US Open. We're going to present this with the help
00:06of our friends at AHEAD. And today we are stitching it all together. AHEAD takes a cross
00:11domain approach to solving complex problems, integrating solutions across the technology
00:15stack, and bridging the old with the new, which is what we're doing right now. The 2016 bridging
00:20it into 2025. AHEAD relies on its heritage of modernizing legacy infrastructure to blend
00:25with cloud native skills. You can learn more at AHEAD.com. Smiley, 2016, you mentioned
00:32you missed the cut. That's not where I want to begin. Here's where I want to begin. They've
00:36talked about this par 3 eighth hole, this monster that can stretch out to 300 plus yards. I believe
00:42when you played it in 2016, it was 288. Bogey on Thursday, but birdie on Friday. What do
00:48you remember about the bird at eight on Friday? I just looked that up. I have no idea. They
00:53just blacked out. No idea how I made birdie. I must sure I must hit on the green and made
00:59a pot. Um, but, uh, didn't go too well after that. Well, so just, just take us through because
01:06you're in the unique position, uh, especially in the golf media world of, of having played
01:10this course in its most recent U S open form. What do you remember about the week and just
01:16every details we're trying to kind of paint a picture here. What was it like staying in the
01:21area, who you played practice rounds with, what it was like being on property. We wanted to dig
01:24into all of it. Well, it's just a classic U S open venue. Uh, the golf course is so hard. And when,
01:29when you hear it all week, and I think it's going to be talked about, uh, it's, it's not
01:36over-exaggerated. It's, it really is that, that challenging and, and, um, it just beautiful
01:41architecture. And Kim, I can't imagine being a one-time architect and building this place.
01:46Just first off, just job. Well done. Shout out to the phones. Shout out to the phones. Uh,
01:51Henry and William, really, really good work guys. The amount of times I try to build something as a
01:56parent for my kid and it takes me multiple times to build it and get it right. Uh, and that's kind
02:02of Oakmont. Uh, it's, it's, uh, constantly being changed and, uh, tweaked and renovated. It's kind of
02:11the history of the place is that it never stops changing. I think it's the beauty of this place.
02:15The golf course just fits the land. Um, and a lot of places too. I was, I was reading
02:20something that, you know, when, when architects typically get to places, they, they try to
02:25level this place, you know, level places out, but this, this golf course, the greens are just
02:29fit to the terrain, just so nicely.
