00:00When you see Bryson now, he wears the same outfit every single day, it's the same team

00:09outfit and he's got other teammates that wear the same thing and you work for Liv, you work

00:16for the Saudis, you've got to do all of these things, which aren't the worst end of the

00:21world.

00:22Let's not act like this is awful, you're getting paid a whole lot of money to do this.

00:27There's big differences now between what a professional golfer on the PGA Tour, the decisions

00:32they get to make versus the decisions that the Liv Golf Tour players get to make day

00:38in and day out.

00:39There's a big difference between some of the things that these guys can and cannot do now.

00:46I think to take it one additional step and looking at the pieces that are moving on the

00:51chess table right now, I don't know how much of this is calculated, how much of this was

00:54already in works, but it seems not entirely coincidental to me that the timing of this

01:01letter that Camilo Villegas sends to the Tour goes out and saying, hey, we're reeling back

01:06cards, we're looking at going back to 100, we're looking at closing pathways a little

01:10bit and hearing Michael Kim come on the show a few days ago and talk about how it's a lot

01:17easier to add cards back in than it is to take cards away.

01:22What are they doing now?

01:23They're putting a precedent in place for when these Liv guys come back.

01:27We don't just have all these free cards to hand out and there's less of a leverage position

01:31where you can say, well, you're giving out, you know, you're keeping 125 cards, you're

01:35giving 30 to Corn Fairy Tour guys and 10 to DP World Tour guys and another few to college

01:39guys.

01:40Surely there should be a way to let in, you know, 24 of our Liv guys.

01:44Well, if all of a sudden landscapes change, it's like, well, it's only 100 Tour cards,

01:49it's only 20 Corn Fairy Tour guys, and it's kind of a more of a closed shop, more of a

01:53tight ecosystem.

01:55Maybe the number of cards that you're willing to kind of allot for Liv guys changes a little

01:59bit.

02:00Maybe you have to send some of those guys back through Corn Fairy Tour routes or things

02:03of that nature.

02:04It could be exciting.

02:07We all of the things that have that have happened over the last couple of years, the changes

02:12that the Tour has made and just I think even to from a network standpoint, like just trying

02:18different things, all I think will pay off in the long run.

02:24Just trying different elements, the TGL team thing from the PGA Tour side, what works,

02:29what doesn't work, what's worked from the from the Liv Golf League that that you can

02:33maybe incorporate into the whole grand scheme of what you want to see week in and week out.

02:39But I think the way in which we're talking about this, which is, I think, a fair way

02:44is is I do feel like a lot of these things are checked off.

02:49I think they're in a good place.

02:50The fact that Jay Monahan continues to go and play golf with Yasser, go over there and

02:57meet the Saudis in person.

02:59There must be very strong communication of the fact that like, how can we get this through

03:03the DOJ?

03:05So hey, let's say that an elected official Trump gets elected and said, hey, let me push

03:11this through.

03:12We could be in a place now where 2026 becomes much more of the new golf, like what we're

03:20going to expect to see over the next couple of decades, right?

03:24Like there's been so much change every single year since all this got started.

03:29And we may be getting closer to and this is the year I think we've all heard and Adam

03:33Scott said it.

03:35Other players have said that 2026 was always going to be the target year.

03:39So next year is going to be another bridge year.

03:41The tours already got their schedule out.

03:43The live golf tours only put out four of their events, which is hilarious that every year

03:47it's like Brooks is going to be sending the tweets like, hey, let us know when you get

03:50the schedule.

03:51Like I got, cause like I got to play in all of them.

03:53So it'd be nice to know where I'm playing.
