00:01:23In the aftermath of one of the most horrible acts of injustice ever in WCW, Kevin Nash walked

00:01:28back to his dressing room last night shocked, speechless and visibly upset.

00:01:32Yet walking with his head held high.

00:01:34The stunned look on the wrestlers' faces said it all.

00:01:37Last night, he not only lost to Scott Steiner, but thanks to one of the most underhanded plots ever,

00:01:42he was forced out of WCW.

00:01:45Later, he was all alone as he left the municipal auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.

00:01:50Nash battled through incredible obstacles just to get to the match last night.

00:01:54And then after he had won, Ric Flair and Scott Steiner manipulated and maneuvered until the end.

00:01:59Scott Steiner walked up with a title and Kevin Nash lost a career.

00:02:06With that in mind, we bring you WCW Monday Nitro live on TNT.

00:02:56Last night, Nashville, Tennessee, Kevin Nash lost the match to Scott Steiner and

00:03:01lost his spot in WCW.

00:03:04He's gone.

00:03:05And I'm certain we're gonna see some very heartfelt in-ring production here from

00:03:11Ric Flair.

00:03:12Here we go.

00:03:13The lowest of lows.

00:03:16I say one of the most horrible acts of injustice ever.

00:03:19We'll be talking about what went down.

00:03:21You saw in some of the footage that Kevin Nash had won the match last night.

00:03:26That really the injury we discussed during the week really was no injury at all.

00:03:31It was Kevin Nash playing mind games.

00:03:33This is the ultimate indignity.

00:03:37There is absolutely no call for this.

00:03:40This is an abuse of power.

00:03:42I hope the new ownership of World Championship Wrestling is taking note.

00:03:46I agree with that sign about how exactly Ric Flair and this Magnificent Seven are

00:03:52slapping WCW in the face after what they pulled last night at Super Bowl Revenge.

00:03:58One of the things they pulled there, you see the man who still has the gold belt.

00:04:01One of the things they pulled last night was making it a loser lead WCW matchup.

00:04:07Power, Ric Flair is more powerful now than ever before in the face of the eminent new ownership of WCW.

00:04:15That was a bomb Ric Flair dropped during the show as well as changing the stipulations

00:04:21during the actual match.

00:04:22Unbelievable.

00:04:24With all due respect.

00:04:43This is a very, very serious, enduring moment.

00:04:48We're gathered here tonight to bid farewell to a man who walked as a giant amongst titans.

00:05:00A man who left a mark on this business that will be remembered forever.

00:05:08One of the three original founding fathers of the NWO, along with Hulk Hogan and Scott Hall.

00:05:18Kevin Nash was that special kind of man, that special kind of athlete,

00:05:29that comes along once in a lifetime.

00:05:34And now, tragically, his career has come to an end.

00:05:42And now, there's nobody left to stand up against us.

00:05:57As a matter of fact, there's no one, practically, to stand at all.

00:06:03You know, before every great team, there's a great leader.

00:06:21And Ric Flair, you proved your greatness last night when you made the stipulations.

00:06:29You bent the rules allowing me to break Kevin Nash's back in the Steiner recliner.

00:14:15all the way down to the top two okay we're gonna start nates monday night we're gonna create

00:14:20eight teams we're gonna put these guys together and they're gonna start with eight teams and we're

00:14:24gonna let them fight all the way to the nates pay-per-view well we will have champion the

00:14:28cruiserweight that's why you're the commissioner i'm the greatest you know and now let's get to

00:14:53tournament begins next week on this program and will crown cruiserweight tag team champions

00:14:58and greed on the 18th of march last night at super brawl revenge six men in a four corners matchup

00:15:04all cruiserweights let's go back to nashville tennessee they were fighting for a shot at the cruiserweight

00:15:10title look at this double a sigh moonsault to the floor the dragons wiped out three count and that is a

00:15:16top rope bottoms up from shannon moore and look at the guillotine leg drop out of the backslide but

00:15:21watch this shannon hits the bottoms up on his own partner shane helms at the end shane helms ended up

00:15:28coming out on top he will get a shot at the cruiserweight championship but we saw an explosion

00:15:33between what's left of three count

00:15:35shane laporte's turned on his own partner wanting to get his shot as well and now speaking of partners

00:15:42jamie noble evan courageous out and jamie noble and shannon moore to do battle here on this one on

00:15:48one match up here on monday nitro into a sleeper hold and noble as shannon moore lands on his feet

00:15:55the words from rick flair from scott steiner ringing throughout wcw we've got a hit list here tonight

00:16:03as scott steiner and rick flair want to rid themselves of all their enemies anyone who would go between rick

00:16:10flair and the new owners and rick flair getting 100 percent vote of confidence from the new owners

00:16:15apparently rick flair with just a checklist put dustin rhodes on that get jeff darrett to take him out

00:16:21the commissioner the cat he's on the list buff bagwell's gonna take him out and canyon and diamond

00:16:27dallas page one more time after the brutality we saw last night at super brawl

00:16:31jimmy noble a pickup in a slam noble who has had a lot of success in tag team wrestling

00:16:38in the cruiserweight division once with the young dragons in a six-man scenario and now of course

00:16:43with evan courageous although evan and noble have not really seen eye to eye many times here comes

00:16:49shannon up on top exciting moments here with the potential of cruiserweight champions on the horizon

00:16:56from the top head scissors takeover maneuver that time here's the cover one two as evan was cheering

00:17:03on his partner helped him kick out in two despite their problems i would think evan courageous and

00:17:08jamie noble may have to be one of the odds on favorites in that cruiserweight tag team division

00:17:13standing switch by shannon at one time he and evan courageous along with shane helm for all partners

00:17:19members of three count and then of course you know the story about evelyn being a glory hound a glory hog if you

00:17:26will taking all the spotlight and then being thrown out of three count and now standing

00:17:30badly towards the corner attempting maybe a monkey flip and king noble runs over in that time did he

00:17:36ever shane helms won the match last night to get a cruiserweight title shot he wasn't even in the match

00:17:42going into super brawl revenge billy kidman attacked before the show northern lights a flex and a two and

00:17:48almost a three kidman attacked by road warrior animal before we went on the air during the pregame show

00:17:53wiped out of the six man four corners cruiserweight challenge shane helms a last minute replacement

00:17:59ended up winning the thing tremendous athleticism on display last night nashville it was as you said

00:18:05scott an elimination match last night foot both feet to the face climbing to the top turn but go

00:18:13spinning connecting covering but not winning somehow jamie noble kicked out of that corkscrew

00:18:21body press from the top by shannon moore the innovation and wcw comes from the cruiserweight

00:18:27division the fact is last night at wcw super brawl revenge and you can see the encore presentation

00:18:33all this week we had no new champions crown last night cover one two but the cat once again became

00:18:41the commissioner of wcw well in all actuality kevin nash did pin scott steiner before before rick flair

00:18:47started changing the rules in the middle of the game ducking low that time noble

00:18:53shannon moore sent him down from the apron slingshot senton did not connect and out goes jamie noble

00:19:01double duck through and oh baseball strike kick that time put jamie noble on the mat now watch out

00:19:07which is where the cruiser weights really shine with a man down and ahead of steam

00:19:15dive from the top somersault in midair connecting i don't know there you see shannon moore

00:19:21really favoring that left ankle that left knee may have injured himself on that maneuver as well that's

00:19:26the high risk whoa that time oh and the courageous partner and then got blindsided from a drop kick that

00:19:34connected with jamie noble shannon moore ducked the wild clothes line hit the drop kick on jamie and drove evan

00:19:40straight into those steel ring steps face first on the outside he signs up the teams in the cruiserweight

00:19:48division of course that tournament begins next monday noble and courageous there's some friction with

00:19:54members of three count based on what happened last night don't forget the young dragons also the young

00:20:00dragons we've seen air paris and aj stoutton hang on a minute that was his own partner evan courageous just

00:20:09what was that from what just happened i guess i mean the man was drop kicked he fell into his partner

00:20:16inadvertently it was an accident before but that was no accident at all from evan just wiped out jamie

00:20:21noval on the apron and that's the bottom top that was blatant intentional and there's a three count

00:20:28i don't know if shannon realized what happened now evan evan coming in congratulating what are they doing

00:20:39what that's evident shannon formerly two-thirds of three count putting the boots to jamie noble

00:20:47evan just stabbed him in the back so does this be there together now is this a team we're gonna see

00:21:31got together and the cruiserweights hit you're turning on the horizon

00:21:35three times no four i counted he never does that i don't know that duck chavo what was he thinking

00:21:40about trying to take you out of the game kid sloppy i don't know what was up with that but i had all

00:21:44night to think and relax about it and i could see their idea was kind of nothing was there i hear

00:21:49your dog is all gravy but you know what animal's going to have to come a lot stronger definitely than

00:21:53his two move three moves because he clothesline clothesline yeah but you know what let's take these

00:21:58dogs in a tag team match tonight let's see what they body body yeah okay yeah against chavo and

00:22:02animal yeah but let's do a different tonight not 1980s rotary animal style new millennium filthy

00:22:12conan and kiddin and kiddin and animal for the channel x to chavo and broden where you were animal for a

00:22:19tank team match later tonight and of course the security camera last night returning chavo behind the

00:22:25attack to take him out of the six man mike awesome makes his way to the ring and boy did he pull the

00:22:31world over our eyes last night in national dressed up as brian prutt look you're seeing it brian

00:22:36attack by totally buff and that figure you see is not brian prutt it's mike awesome not a bad

00:22:43impersonation but in the end mike awesome and the swerve lost chronic and coming up in green

00:22:50totally buff gets a shot at palombo and a hair and the tag team title that was another last minute

00:22:57swerved by rick flair making that tag match which chronic is totally buffed into a the winner gets a

00:23:04world tag team title title shot at green well revenge was last night but revenge and what

00:23:11part is looking for tonight he was hurt by the doctor director last night but he was all tied up

00:23:16while mike awesome played his part so to speak and now look at the two men go he was tied up and

00:23:23he was tied up and beaten and put it to a room where he couldn't come out he finally escaped near the end of

00:23:50the match fans super bowl revenge and the outcourt presentation is all this week and what do we

00:23:56got behind oh no prime time prime time of team canada out of nowhere trying to attack this monster oh

00:24:04come on the body scissors wait a minute hang on landstorm the former commissioner is in the good night

00:24:15look at clark leveling everybody into the back overhead release during two picks by mike awesome

00:30:55in this tank team match that hasn't started yet well billy kidman got shaft out of his shot in that

00:31:02six-man cruiserweight match last night by chavo guerrero jr slipping 100 bucks to road warrior

00:31:08animal to wipe him out the pregame kidman is getting his revenge right now he runs over chavo kidman

00:31:15has the cruiserweight champ bounces from one corner down to the man of the referee we're gonna try to

00:31:20restore some order so we can bring you this match fans right after this very short timeout we're going

00:31:26to break right now don't forget beginning next week the cruiserweight tag team title tournament

00:31:34begins eight of the great cruiserweight teams from around the world beginning next week here

00:31:40on monday nitro and culminating at greed on sunday march 18.

00:31:58this is supposed to be a tag team contest with kidman and conan against road warrior animal and

00:32:03chavo guerrero jr but what we're seeing is an out and out brawl all over the building here in huntsville

00:32:09it is a brawl with purpose based on what went down last night kidman was the favorite no question about it

00:32:15the six man four corner cruiserweight elimination mech but because of what chavo allegedly did

00:32:21oh tornado ddt he planted kidman

00:32:30let's not forget fans this is a tag team match and animal and chavo at least trying to work as a tag team

00:32:39after that tornado ddt wiped kidman out now they can focus here on conan finally good job by the

00:32:46officials order restore tag team rules i am assuming are going to prevail here it took five oh five

00:32:54referees that time top rope springboard into a drop kick and chavo on the outside here comes kidman

00:33:00mounting a comeback did you see conan he's so fired up for this one he hit the drop kick off the apron we

00:33:06haven't seen that from conan in a long long time kidman back in with a forearm shot on chavo jr chavo

00:33:13will defend the cruiserweight title against steen helms coming up in green on the 18th of march

00:33:19the event in jacksonville florida and live on pay-per-view however kidman has all rights to

00:33:26want a cruiserweight title shot down the road he got job he got rook out of a chance of going there's a

00:33:33great hip up that time and a chance of going for the cruiserweight title last night had he won the

00:33:38six man four corner elimination match well he gets his shot at revenge right now the man who wiped

00:33:44him out road warrior animal and the man that paid him chavo guerrero jr nobody home smart money in this

00:33:50match would be to keep chavo in the ring and keep that monster road warrior animal on the outside and

00:33:57right now travel very close to making the tag to bring the man in here comes conan trying to cut

00:34:01it off and he did he cut it off one two did you see how close the hand was to make it away from road

00:34:08warrior animal and what we're seeing from chavo guerrero jr certainly better than his years of

00:34:15experience would indicate but that's from growing up in this sport what kind of pretzel is conan trying

00:34:20chavo into here almost like a standing figure four and here comes animal and he got him out of that

00:34:28one animal animal came in and wiped out both guys right back out to the apron now chavo is up in

00:34:35control but definitely favoring both knees so chavo now back to his feet conan took all he had

00:34:43conan right now working on adrenaline working on emotion here working on anger based on what went down you

00:34:49heard the interview earlier in this telecast we are just at the top fans going near the close to the
