00:01:12the last edition of WCW Monday Nitro.

00:01:16Hi, everybody, Tony Ciavone, it's Scott Hudson, and

00:01:20we are at ringside as we send it to the ring in our ring and after David Penger.

00:01:25Ladies and gentlemen, this is the opening contest of WCW Monday Nitro.

00:01:31A four-quarters Cruiserweight match.

00:01:33It is scheduled for one fall with a ten-minute time limit.

00:01:37Introducing first, representing Team Canada Primetime, Felix Dipper.

00:01:45We are gonna begin with Cruiserweight action, the division that's been on fire as a play.

00:01:50Another example of talented young athletes, who are going to know,

00:01:53Scott, pushing to the limit as we open up Monday Nitro.

00:01:56We saw it last Wednesday night on Thunder, the Cruiserweight Contender Countdown.

00:02:01Ten athletes at the peak of their performance, and

00:02:05Rey Mysterio Jr. emerged with the Duke.

00:02:07We're gonna try it one more time here tonight with the Four Corners Hoosierweight Challenge.

00:02:12The second participant, accompanied to the ring by Lea Miao,

00:02:16and representing the Young Dragons, is Yang.

00:02:21Gang of the Young Dragons coming out with Lea Miao.

00:02:25What should be a barn burner to open things up here on Monday Nitro.

00:02:29Excitement reigns in the city by the Inner Harbor,

00:02:33where the Ravens, of course, won Super Bowl 35 last night.

00:02:38And the fans are excited, as they always are, to see WCW here,

00:02:42as we head to Super Bowl Revenge, coming up in the month of February, David Spencer.

00:02:46Ladies and gentlemen, the third of the play,

00:02:48the probably North Carolina Ripley City breakout.

00:02:53My heart beats faster, and I have no clue.

00:02:56Now divided up into three seemingly unequal parts, but

00:03:02all three titles, and nonetheless, Shannon Moore may be the most underrated of the three.

00:03:15will come at this ring for the Four Corners.

00:03:40by his win this past Tuesday on this program.

00:03:45And that, of course, we'll be talking about during the course of this telecast.

00:03:48Jamie Noble and Yang will start out with so many similarities.

00:03:51Here are men, Scott, that were on the same team not too long ago.

00:05:14But it was prime time who came in and made the save.

00:05:17In the four quarters match, you have to divide and locker, so to speak.

00:05:25Look at Jamie Noble up top, landed on his feet, into a full, no set.

00:05:32Dragon suplex by Elix Skipper and Yang, made the save in prime time.

00:05:48in the wall will be a tag action against Rey Mysterio Jr.

00:24:12You gotta wonder, Shawn Stasiak may be on the verge of becoming Commissioner of World

00:24:18Championship Wrestling, as the cat on the arena floor right in front of our broadcast

00:24:22position, we're gonna get a bird's eye view of this with Tony Hanks, Commissioner Stasiak.

00:24:25Boom, wait just one second here, boom, come on, that cat, using the water that time.

00:24:37I don't know if that was a good means of strategy or now, but Stasiak picks him up,

00:24:42the lower back across the ring, the ring calls that time by Stasiak, and

00:24:48that's gonna change the complexion of this matchup.

00:24:51The cat, Ernest Miller, as great an athlete as he is, was nailed,

00:24:55that time by Stasiak.

00:24:56Remember what Stasiak said, if he gets commissionership, he's gonna book himself

00:25:00in a match for the world tag team titles against O'Hare and Columbo.

00:25:08We saw them watching in the back, Stasiak wasting too much time with the cat pinbuckle,

00:25:25he just kicked right out of that, and now, sent the cat down with the running lariat.
