00:10about, it would have to happen naturally at a time when I'm already home and settled. Right now,

00:15Kelly is absolutely killing it. That show is hers, no question about it. Television has always been

00:22my first love and I've learned in life, you just never know what's around the corner. Hoda recently

00:27walked back some of her earlier statements, possibly hinting that she's not ruling out

00:32a future handoff to Kelly. She made the remarks during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens

00:37Live. The Today Show veteran also reaffirmed her number one choice for Jenna Bush Hager's next

00:42co-host on Jenna and Friends. I love Savannah, she said. She's great with Jenna. I really believe

00:49she'd be a good choice. And would Savannah entertain the thought? Oh my gosh, yes, she replied,

00:55though she did acknowledge that she's got a lot of options in front of her. Hoda also

01:00complimented others, telling Justin Sylvester is amazing, Scarlett Johansson is a knockout

01:06guest, and that Matt Rogers really shined. She went on to say that Chanel Jones, their good

01:12friend, might be a good choice too. In the end, it's all about who gets along best with Jenna.

01:17As far as Jenna is concerned, however, they're not even close to making a decision. But let's

01:23catch up with Kelly. Gossip has been circulating for months that she may be leaving her show.

01:29This we do know. The Kelly Clarkson Show has already been renewed for the upcoming season.

01:34However, in March, Kelly had to skip 10 tapings because of an unexpected family crisis. Later,

01:40she spoke about how difficult it is being a career woman and a mother.

01:44I don't know who thought school performances at 10 a.m. on a weekday were a great idea for parents'

01:50emotional well-being, she said. Our kids don't get it. And when we're not there, it just looks bad.

01:56Her filming schedule is no joke. To produce 180 episodes per season, she tapes two shows a day,

02:03three days a week, across 30 weeks. News has it, Kelly has been wrestling with what's next.

02:09She's reportedly been emotionally torn, having even had a meltdown, according to sources who spoke with

02:16the Daily Mail. She doesn't want her decisions to impact all of us, one staffer explained. We brought

02:21the entire production to New York, and that was her suggestion. She feels responsible for her weight.

02:27Her talk show salary is reportedly under $9 million. But now, she's returning to Vegas. Beginning July 4th,

02:35she's performing an 18-show residency at Caesars Palace for four and a half months. When she did that

02:41last time, she was said to have made $10 million. I love Vegas, she's quoted as saying. And don't

02:48forget her stint on The Voice. That job translated to about 24 episodes, spread out over three months,

02:56and apparently paid her a cool $14 million. I told my kids I was going to be home more,

03:01she explained. That's why I ended up leaving The Voice. I always want to do so much. But there just

03:07aren't enough hours in the day.
